Services
At Roanoke Orthopedics, we offer the care you need to help you get back on track. This care sometimes includes minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to treat a variety of hip, knee and shoulder conditions. Originally, arthroscopy was simply a diagnostic tool for planning standard open surgery. Now, with the development of better instruments and surgical techniques, many joint conditions can be treated arthroscopically.
Most everyone has felt a twinge in the wrist after spending a long time on the computer or performing some kind of repetitive task. Nerve disorders like carpal or cubital tunnel syndrome may start with mild discomfort, but over time, can interfere with both your life and work. And, while treatments like medication may help, sometimes surgery is determined to be the best option for longer-term relief.
If you're considering hip, shoulder, or knee joint replacement surgery, we know it may seem overwhelming. At Roanoke Orthopedics, our goal is to make the journey easier. Our skilled orthopedic team can see you through each phase of care. If pain from bone, joint, ligament, or muscle problems is keeping you from enjoying life like you used to, you don't have to travel far for relief.
In addition to performing traditional orthopedic procedures, our orthopedic specialists use minimally invasive techniques, which often allow for better precision, with less incision. That includes the direct anterior approach to hip replacement surgery, which can be a less invasive alternative to traditional solutions.
Your knee is the largest joint in your body, which makes it vulnerable to injury and other problems. Sports, exercise, and general wear and tear can cause muscle strains, tendinitis, and more serious injuries. When medications and other treatments can't keep your knee pain at a manageable level, your orthopedics team may recommend surgery to replace the knee joint.
