Bayou Barataria RV Park

I’ve stayed here long term, been here since the property opened and genuinely enjoyed it. It was conveniently located to my job. The crew that manages the property are wonderful and have done a great job keeping up with the property. The grounds are always well maintained. The bathroom facilities are clean. The people are friendly. It’s safe and quiet. Shawn is easy to contact. He’s always willing to help and go out of his way to do what needs to be done. It’s the perfect place for travelers and long term contract workers.

Shawn and Scott were warm and welcoming. They helped us out of a sticky situation at another rv park we rented at. This park is safe, well kept and close enough to everything you want to explore in New Orleans.

WOW! What a fantastic place to stay! This is a nice park clean and tidy, the manager Shawn really takes pride and it shows! He even offered to help us get set up upon arrival, nice thick grass at every site, clean showers/restrooms as well, it was quite and we could finally relax considering we had just left east New Orleans! everyone we met was so very friendly, it was like we had been their lifelong friends, I believe it’s due to Shawn being an attentive manager and really caring about people, so if you’re looking for this kind of place to hang out and make some new friends, we highly recommend

Great place to stay. The manager even helped me get into the lot being I haul my camper by myself and he even offered to help me get my camper set up. I paid up front and I ended up leaving a day early and he refunded me for the night I didn’t stay. Very quiet and friendly place with A+ management

I stayed here for 8 months and truly have not had as helpful of an experience anywhere else. Scott is very nice and Shawn is extremely helpful and takes great care to make everyone feel safe. As a single woman living alone, I felt watched out for by Shawn and his family, they even invited me for community time and offered to move my 5th wheel to safety during hurricane Ida. They all went above and beyond, they're super great people. The RV park is nice also!

Great place to stay. Absolutely great accommodations and management is very friendly and helpful with our setup. We are staying long term over the winter with very good access to the greater New Orleans community!

Stayed here for a total of 5 nights and it was amazing!
Scott and Shawn were Super welcoming and friendly!
The location felt super safe and was extremely quiet.
The bathroom was clean and had enough hot water for everyone. Never had a cold shower.
Shawn went above and beyond for use giving us recommendations and offering help when we had a low tire pressure in my car.

Are you military in transition? Wanting a calm piece of mind in a safe place? Well here it is. Sean the owner is very personable and took good care of me and my family and we were so glad we met him and stayed here. He even offered to help hook everything up. Will definitely stay when visiting Nola again.

Bayou Barataria RV Park was my home away from home while working in New Orleans for 4 months. Well kept, lit up at night, good WiFi, reasonably priced, convenient laundromat, and Shawn went out of his way to always check in on everything. I highly recommend this park for work/long term stays.

This RV park was very nice. The park attendance are awesome. The park is well-kept, maintained, and safe. Sean is one of the head people at the park along with his wife. They are really awesome people. They don't bother you, unless of course, you need something. They're polite, courteous, and go out of their way to make sure you're okay and taking care of.
At night the park is well lit, not to much noise, and security cameras. During the day noise is a bit higher, but not to bad.
They have showers. 3 washers and 4 dryers, all coin operated. They do not have a change machine, so I got rolls of
