I'm Kevin, a portrait, commercial, architectural and aerial photographer located in Rapid City. I am a South Dakota original, growing up playing and loving the Black Hills. I knew very early on this was where I wanted to live and raise a family. I began taking photos in high school and soon learned photography was the path I wanted to travel.
As a photographer, my goal is to make you feel relaxed and enjoy the process, also for you to feel great about the product we produce. Depending on the type of photography session, I want to learn about the subject; you, your family, the product, or your business to ensure I portray each through the photos.

For 20+ years, I've photographed many different products here in the Rapid City, SD area. From jewelry to architecture such as real estate; I have the expertise to take your product photography. Taking photos of products isn't just a quick snapshot. It takes time.

I began aerial photography in the Black Hills and Rapid City area around twenty years ago though a request by a client to get a "birds eye" view of some property they wanted to develop. I've been providing aerial surveys and documentation photos ever since and truly enjoy it.
Along with working from fixed wing aircraft, I am also a FAA licensed Part 107 Drone pilot One of the most important elements of successful aerial photography is having mother nature's cooperation.Carefully planning and having a backup plan is very important as conditions can change quickly.

Every year I have the pleasure to take Photos of some amazing kids here in Rapid City for their Senior Photography. From fun studio sessions to getting outdoors with their pets, or enjoying their favorite sports - we always have a great time! Kevin has been wonderful to work with for both our family photos and our daughter's Senior pictures. We could not have been happier with his professionalism, quality of work and location choices. Kevin is a true professional. Dare I say the best Black Hills portrait photographer. He has tremendous knowledge of lighting and posing. I've worked with him on quite a few projects and he has nailed everything from personal to commercial. All of this and he is arguably one of the nicest people in the Rapid City area.
