Granite State Cabinetry was established in 1989. Frank and Mariette Morris acquired the business in 1996. Prior, Frank was a home builder in Bedford, NH and was also a builder customer. He would send his clients to the showroom to pick out cabinetry for their new home. Kitchens were simple 25 years ago.
Crown molding and tilt trays were the options, and customers got to select from four colors of knobs for their hardware. Frank and Mariette were both excited to begin a new chapter in their lives and began working hard to create the foundation on what GSC is built upon today. Frank instilled his lifelong values into the business, creating a positive culture and an embracing family environment that still exists today.

Granite State Cabinetry recently completed our kitchen remodel and it looks fantastic. We were so impressed by the entire team at Granite State Cabinetry, as well as the various contractors involved in the project. What really impressed us was that at the time we signed the contract on May 6th we were provided with a schedule of the work to be done commencing on September 27th, which included what work was going to be done, who was going to do the work and on the date it was going to be done. Everything listed on the schedule was done as outlined! We even threw in an added painting project and

It was an absolute delight to work with Granite State Cabinetry. Extremely professional from start to finish. This project began just before Covid 19 and was put on hold for several months. Given this extra time we were able to rethink some designs and additions to adjoining rooms. Granite State was willing to work in our budget and was very flexible with our needs. We had our kitchen, cabinets, floors, ceilings, lighting, and appliances completely remodeled by Granite State Cabinetry and could not be more pleased. The entire staff were total professionals. We did a kitchen remodel and had brand new hardwood floors installed. We had multiple problems with the installer from Granite State Cabinetry. First, our new floors were damaged in multiple places. The finish was taken completely off in some areas due to the "seasoned" installer dropping tools multiple times on my floor. We were told not to cover our floors because they take care of it. He covered the floors with a fabric the thickness of toilet paper. Next, our dishwasher opening was not wide enough so our dishwasher would not fit. We used GSC & Jackie to update our kitchen. We wanted a designer that would give their opinion if asked. We had interviewed a few other firms that were basically acting as "Yes Men" just replying in the affirmative for any suggestions that we made. That is not what we wanted. We are not kitchen designers and don't necessarily know what works well together. We asked Jackie to be honest with us and we are glad that we did. Her suggestions were spot on and resulted in a spectacular remodel.
