A lifelong Chicagoan, Dr. Ronald Bies graduated from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in 1979.
He furthered his education with a Surgical Residency in Podiatric Medicine at Westside Hospital in Long Beach California. After returning to the Chicago area, he opened Orland Podiatry Center, which is the oldest Podiatry practice in Orland Park, Illinois. He is a lecturer and innovator of surgical procedures of the foot.
