I'm a graphic designer. And I love what I do. I founded Burgoon Design in 1990 after working inside for five years. During that time - first as an in-house illustrator, then agency-side and client-side as an art director - I learned from seasoned professionals. It was an exciting time. The creative process was energizing.
Too often we only see the end result of an advertising campaign - a single package, campaign or logo. There are almost always multiple concepts presented. Several may be chosen to explore further, modify based on client feedback, or redirected due to unanticipated needs. But eventually, only one makes the cut.
The PDMA has been serving the direct marketing community in the Greater Philadelphia area for almost 70 years. Monthly events ranging from educational to social keep members and non-members in the know and in the center of what's new in direct marketing. And the Annual Benny Awards are arguably one of the most prestigious and anticipated events in the Philadelphia direct marketing arena.
