Johnson Woodworks and Remodeling, LLC is a custom design and build company where every job, no matter the size, is addressed with acute attention to detail and craftsmanship. Services include custom furniture design and fabrication, built-in elements, and small scale remodeling. We are based in Amherst, Massachusetts.
Beginning with an introductory course in wood carving as an undergraduate at Colorado State University, I developed a fascination with the material world and its tactile relationships. After receiving a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1993, I embarked on a career as a commercial sculptor, working in St. Louis, Missouri and Las Vegas, Nevada.

My husband and I built a new home in Kincardine in 2019. Johnson Woodworks did all of our cabinetry, from full design, build and installation. We are super happy with our new kitchen (so functional and specific to our needs), bathrooms, laundry room, custom fireplace mantle. Quality work and service! Highly recommended.
