As a ex worker from this company I can say that is the worst company to work, they don’t respect the rights of people and if we are not agree they just fired us, and the excuse is absolutely ridiculous (performance) the manager that is running the company right now is not helpful at all. I just wondering if the owner knows how he is running his company.

I am surprised that they ranked as high as 2.7 stars, which is just above mediocre, because I would rate them lower than a one if I could. I called Larry in July, just before the closing on my new Shea Home in Livermore, and asked if I could purchase an additional cabinet set for the upstairs linen area. He told me to call back after the close of escrow and he would send me one, but it would take six to eight weeks for delivery. So I called in October and left him a voice message, and no response. I texted and no response, I emailed and no response. I repeated this cycle three more times on different

Used this company through our builder to fix our scratched countertops. Their technician was poorly trained to handle the situation. He made matters worse by rushing through the job and in the process introduced new scuff marks and scratches in areas that originally were in pristine condition. Acknowledged mistake but did not know what to do next.

This company certainly does not care about their business reputation, as one can tell by the myriad of other bad reviews. I've been calling and leaving messages for two weeks and have yet to receive a call back. Finally reached a person and she was able to let me know they were way to busy to help an existing customer. I currently have their cabinets in my home. UGGG!!! Beware if your builder is putting Barbosa Cabinets in your home. If something goes wrong your out of luck.

I am so grateful I am not reviewing this company!!! I will give a shout out to ALL the reviews of customers who've been negatively affected by them. I would like to thank all of you. We have gotten quotes from Ikea for $over $6,000 (didn't like cabinet options, but loved price) and Home Depot over $35,000 for just (re-facing) not new cabinets. They're crazy. When we purchased our new home in 1999, most of them came with those golden oak cabinets. It was standard cabinetry for our builder Morrison. I wanted to change them to give a richer look. I remember hearing Barbosa was the top

Need new cabinets in our entire kitchen. My husband called them but was told they only do business with contractors directly and won't deal directly with us unless we hire them to do the installation. We have someone already to do the installation. Bad business policy. So basically they won't talk to us and don't want our business. Ok then, bye.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Home is 7 years old and cabinets look like they are 25 years old. The finish is flaking off. Have no idea what they used. Hard to also clean no matter how much I've tried. Everything sticks to them and has a weird haze even after cleaning. The cabinets are dark which needs cleaning because of fingerprints but not much works. They look like crap and it's quite embarrassing. I just pray when we have company or parties they don't notice the horrible cabinets. I should sue for emotional distress can't even enjoy a party or company over without

Our house built in 2014 by Shea Homes has Barbosa builder-grade cabinets installed throughout. Everything but the door and drawer fronts and cabinet frames is particle board held together with janky staples. (It doesn't appear they used glue at all). Even the drawer guides are stapled in, where they should have used screws, and some of them were installed out of level.

Also, when Barbosa installed the cabinets, nobody bothered to level any of the drawer fronts or doors, so I had to go through the entire house and realign everything. Additionally, the finish on these cabinets is a cheap type

Poor workmanship and cheap parts used. Customer service is helpless and disappointing with no knowledge of replacement parts. They certainly didn't mind charging us for the wrong parts and then wanting a picture sent of all replacement parts that were incorrectly sent. This almost feels like a "bait and switch" as they knew exactly what was needed and acted surprised that they made a mistake. Eventually, they admitted that they no longer carried the "proprietary" part and "check Amazon". Now we are stuck with broken plastic brackets (that hold the slide gliders

Similar experience to Tammy’s! I sent an email with photos and detailed measurements. I needed two cabinets made to match existing. They never responded to the email, so I called. Without even referencing my email, with details and photos, she told me that because my house was 20y old, they wouldn’t do it. She then referred me to another company. Is this a cabinet company or a referral service?! I will definitely let my painter know so that he doesn’t refer any other customers here to waste their time.

Cabinets are too small to really work with and and follow-up service doesn't exist. Paid a healthy upgrade for cabinets really kicking myself now.

I called to get assistance with a part that they used on their kitchen cabinets, because it is an irregular size that I was not able to locate at Lowes, Home Depot, or Orchard Supply. I was told that because my cabinets are past the warranty they can't help me. I advised I'm willing pay for the part, I just need the part. She stated I'm sorry we can't sell you that part. I was given the names of 2 other cabinet companies to call and wished good luck!

Bought and moved in to a new home July 1, 2016. During walk through, one won't see all the defects whether in kitchen or bathrooms. After move in and checking/using all cabinets/doors/drawers/shelves/countertops/korbels/under cabinets, we saw some dents, misaligned drawers, soft-close not closing tight, etc. We reported to developer who is first of all responsible for quality control before selling the home i.e. quartz countertops were by another manufacturer/vendor and were put on after cabinets were installed, dings/dents/cuts may have been caused after cabinets were installed, etc. My complaints

Just bought a Pulte Home that has Barbosa cabinets installed. I'm assuming Barbosa installed the cabinets. The cabinets are a mess. Dings, and chips, and scratches all over the cabinets. They are a dark color so not so easy to see some of the defects/damage in the cabinets. However, once the sunlight starts coming through the window you can really see how trashed these new cabinets are. Some of the doors look like someone wiped the doors down with a rag full of dirt and sand.
I also called Barbosa to try and get some of the left over pieces from the granite slabs provided so they could fabricate
