Due to the current pandemic, all sessions are currently taking place through an online platform. In-Person sessions will resume once the "social distancing" recommendation has been lifted. Thank you for understanding! Finding the right therapist is a very personal journey. It is my goal to walk alongside with you and guide you in every step of the way.
I will work with you and together we find the right approach and treatment modality that best suits your needs. Besides psychoanalytic counseling, I am trained in a variety of holistic modalities to aid the standard approach of counseling. My philosophy is that while external events are unavoidable, we are in control of how we approach the situation.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, and am trained in EFT, EMDR Parts I & II, Psycho-Kinesiology and Specialized Energy Kinesiology. The work is energetic, motivating, and empowering. By applying a CBT based approach, each session may be different depending on your needs. I make use of a variety of different modalities (see below) and may use them in isolation or in combination. Regardless of what modality is used, you always are in control and provide the energy for each session.
While Stress is unavoidable and external events are out of our control, it is, however, in our control of how we react to stress and cope with the demands that are put upon us. Stress causes physical, mental & emotional symptoms. When experiencing stress, our body & mind is often reacting with a "fight/flight/freeze" response.
Have you ever noticed how many negative statements we use on a day-to-day basis? We say "I am depressed" or "I can't do this" or "I've had a bad day" or "This weather is lousy." We tend to state our thoughts in the negative rather than in the positive. And since our thoughts are pure energy, by stating how we feel in the negative, this is then how we feel.
The Necker Cube is a perfect example of our perception. Can you make the cube flip and see it differently? With regular exercise, you will be able to perceive the cube from different angles. It is a great exercise to encourage both sides - the left / logical and right / creative sides, of your brain to work together.
