HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. My husband of 27 years died and being from Texas and in shock, I chose the first company who could help during the tragedy. Carol had abrasive customer service skills. I asked if they would cremate my husband with his favorite football shirt. The funeral home said no problem. Carol called and yelled at my mother in law (whose son had just died) that it would cost extra for the shirt. The call was on speaker phone and Carol's voice to my ears was cold and horrible. The company got my death certificate wrong (they got my surviving spouse name wrong), then wouldn't get corrected

This was a very trying time for everyone involved and my father-in-law happen to pass away in another state that I knew nothing about at all. His daughter lived in another state up north and we were trying to handle his affairs between three different states and I found this crematory service on Google. The lady that Helped us name was Carol. She was such a God send during all this and helped us in every way possible and was very patient and understanding of the situation and how to make this go as smoothly as possible. Thank you Carol for all you have done!!! This was an example of what awesome

I have never met a more heartless woman in my life!! She acted as if money was all she wanted and had the nerve to try and charge us to say our goodbyes!! Needless to say it was worth the $150 to move our family member to a MUCH nicer place and with VERY caring people who had sympathy and respect and didn't act like this was just another paycheck! Gunn funeral home is the best place for funeral/cremation services hands down!!
