Acute and chronic disease management- whether you present for acute bronchitis or long standing Diabetes, Dr Ainsworth and her team will be able to appropriately manage your needs. There is no problem too big or too small. Specializing in women's health care including but not limited to Annual PAP smears, menopause, hormone replacement.
Here lies the clear distinction and definition of Functional Medicine. Instead of asking, "What drug matches up with this disease?" Functional Medicine asks the vital questions that very few conventional doctors ask: "Why do you have this problem in the first place?" These are services that will require a referral from your Primary Care physician. Dr. Ainsworth will address only the CFS/FMS symptoms and the rest of the primary care needs will be provided by your Primary Care provider. Such a disappointment! And I really wanted to like this practice and support female run businesses and holistic care. Getting my test results was like pulling teeth! I would call and be told I would receive a call back by the end of the day and then nothing!!! For weeks!!! And then I get a call from someone who can barely speak English saying that they don’t have my insurance information. I gave the lady at the front desk my insurance card to make copies of it. Clearly there is a disconnect. I have never left a bad review before but I really feel like I should just to warn others.

The doctor herself started off great. I have been searching for a good primary care for quite some time. I went in for a physical to acquire the doctor and had some issues that I wanted to discuss as well.
The doctor talked me into the functional medicine program. What the fine print doesn't tell you in a so called contract that you are held responsible to sign and pay for out of pocket EVERY month, is the lab tests. In the time I was involved in this program, I dished out of my pocket over $7k...yes, $7k...no insurance help as the insurance company will not support functional medicine. I have

I started to come to this office a few months ago and have been very pleased with the outcome. Dr. Ainsworth is awesome. I have been to other holistic and integrative offices and have not seen the care like is received at MDWellness. I would highly recommend her practice to anyone. Staff is pleasant and answers questions accordingly and if they do not know they are honest and tell me that they will get back with me.
