Love margarets! Great food, servers and atmosphere. We are from Pittsburgh and meet friends there from Steubenville. We always have a great time!

Five of us had dinner and five of us left happy!! Service was fantastic too!! We also enjoyed looking at the pictures on the walls

I hate leaving bad reviews. I try to find something positive about a place but sometimes it just has to be.. . this used to be decent restaurant. Unfortunately it's gone WAAAY down hill.. went for breakfast, waited 10 min to get waited on, food took forever to get and they were not busy at all. Sad to say I'll never be going back

Excellent food really good service , a great place to visit when your really hungry!!

Horrible just horrible walked in and sat down 15 minutes later we finally got someone to take our drinks, then 10 min later came back for order. I had to send mine back it was wrong by the time I got it they were done. I got mine to go. other people I was with their food was cold. we waited a hour since walking in and getting food and only 10 people in there!! it will be long time before going back

I really like the homemade foods and always fresh. They make the best soups in Ohio.... Their specials are Also a great deal. Friendly home style restaurant, and the service is exceptional, specially Hillary, who's the best server I've ever encountered at any restaurant from 1 Starr restaurants to the 5 Starr restaurants I've ever eaten at... I encourage everyone in the area to visit Margaret's , you'll be addicted indeed..

Very home like atmosphere. Food and drinks priced for the working class. Staff was very friendly and lots to choose from.

Been here a couple times now. Food has been good. Friendly service. The wait is kind of long, but you can play keno to kill time. Lol

The chicken tender salad was huge and it was so good and don’t even get me started on the fried pickles it was so good their ranch incredible I’ll definitely be coming back

I used to love this place when I lived in Ohio, and used to frequent it quite often. The service back then was great, the food was great, and the drinks were awesome. It's been 4 years since I've been in the area, but if I ever make it back and Margaret's is still there...I will certainly go check out how it's changed.

Open tables, inside dining March 2021 (covid) for lunch.
Ate the hot roast beef sandwich fries, gravy on all with a side of slaw and fresh brewed iced tea.
Everything was very good, seems homemade. Roast was shredded pot roast not deli meat. Gravy was thick and tasty. Fries aren't fresh cut but still extremely good, a little crisp on the outside made them hold up while smothered in gravy.
I'll def be back. Very affordable. Clean, following protocol for safety. Staff is friendly. They take visa card.

Great food and waitstaff. Kitchen was slow tonight - waited average hour for food and then they brought my baked potato and had to wait another 20 minutes for my steak. I understand that they have been closed… because of Covid but they need to get kitchen staff a little better organized. I’ll still go back because I really like this place. Normally would give a 10 - today an 8.

Covid guidelines need to be better enforced to ensure a safe eating establishment. Patrons are walking around (playing the Keno machine, Touch Tunes, using the bathroom, and visiting other patrons without masks). Employees not properly wearing masks over the nose. Many bar patrons all side by side... no special distancing.

We are just passing through on a vacation and stopped for dinner. I got the zucchini strips. They were amazing! My son raved about the Philly cheese steak. Others in our family had the shrimp, chili, blt, strip steak, spaghetti, and mac and cheese. Everything was good. Our waitress was sweet and efficient. I'd go again for sure!

As a local i need to tell you that i love it here so much. The staff is so kind and cooperative that almost our WHOLE school musical theater will go there after we perform and they're so awesome. I LIVE for their jody fries!!! Burgers are great, delicious fish sandwiches, 1000% recommended.

Don't like to complain but tonight the food was definitely not what it used to be. my fries were mushy and they didn't give me cheese sauce for our fries that we asked for. they gave us the wrong soup an it was cold. dinner was way to expensive for the quality of food and to not get what we ordered. not sure we will be back we are very disappointed.

Prices went up & you get smaller portions of food ? this was ridiculous!!! I ordered fish & chips .... didnt even get my coleslaw btw !! The fish looks like little chicken nuggets !!! definitely not worth the price !!! I will NOT come back here again !!!!

Me and my husband stopped in this week around 3 in the afternoon and there was approx 5 other tables with customers and so not real busy but just moderate/minimal. The place actually had a nice decor whereby was comfortable and my husband even seen a picture on the wall of his uncle in the restaurant honoring the ones from Toronto who served in our military. From where we were seated the restaurant, everything appeared to be kept clean and in order although neither one of us had gone to the bathrooms to know about them.

Amazing food, amazing prices,(depending on what you get an how much) but I recommend you not come in a hurry looking for a quick meal. They are usually really busy and it takes a while to get your food. Other than the timing, customer service is superb and along with everything listed, well. Highly recommend for a couples night or maybe a family gathering

Drove from Wheeling to eat dinner and had great food w/wonderful waitress!! We tried wings first w/dry rub mountain&buffalo blue cheese-both were slightly hot and crispy!! Mmmm Then had the freshest house salad w/old school blue cheese followed by cod chunks&baked potato. Wow we can't wait to go back! It was very clean and huge steeler crowd w/many different ages of families. Also saw someone eating crablegs that we can't wait to try. Prices are very reasonable.

Stopped in due to the reviews. Traveling to Akron and wanted to try something new. All were right, great food and place!!!! Portions are HUGE! OMG!

Great food, great atmosphere. Definitely has that "family feel" that always makes you feel welcome. Spacious dining room, social bar area and clean restrooms.

My wife, mother-in-law and I came for lunch and tried a variety of menu options. It was wing day (50 cents each) with 28 flavors...uhhh, yes please! Highly reccomend- HUGE wings very fresh. Wife has a grilled chickeb salad and my MIL had the giant fish sandwich minus the sandwich.

Great visit, we'll be back!

Margaret's is one of those "hole-in-the-wall" type places that you can not judge by its exterior. Located in sleepy Toronto, OH, this place serves up some of the best food around - and at ridiculously great prices. I am sure my dad gets tired of me asking to go to Margaret's every time I come to town to visit.

The food: I have typically gone with their salads or their fish meals and both are outstanding in terms of portion size and taste. The fish sandwich and fish dinner provide you mammoth portions of fresh cod, and come with a delicious side of fries. Cole slaw also
