As you get older, the collagen and elastin fibers in your skin breakdown, causing wrinkles and facial lines. Our injectables and fillers are able to provide a solution for this problem. Injectable are the treatment of choice for reducing the appearance of fine lines on the forehead, between and around the eyes.
The NorthShore MedSpa Aesthetics offer Botox injections, which is the cosmetic procedure that is most often used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face. Botox involves a series of minimally invasive injections that is comprised of a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium.
Juvederm Injectable Gel is a gel that is extremely safe and effective and it works by restoring volume to the skin and smoothing away wrinkles and folds in the face. Juvederm is the first FDA-approved dermal filler that has proven itself to be safe and effective for people of color. Juvederm is also the only hylauronic acid filler that the FDA has approved to last up to a year.
Juvederm Voluma(R) XC injectable gel is the first and only filler FDA-approved to instantly add volume to the cheek area. It gives you a subtle lift, helping to restore contour and a more youthful profile, for up to 2 years, in patients over the age of 21. It's different than Juvederm(R) XC and works on a different area of the face.
Some women may wish to add subtle volume to their lips; others may want to soften the appearance of the vertical lines above them. Lines such as these are often caused by factors such as sun exposure or repeated muscle movement. JUVEDERM VOLBELLA(R) XC injectable gel is for injection into the lips for lip augmentation and for correction of perioral lines in adults over the age of 21.

My third visit to NorthShore MedSpa has cemented me as a long term client. They CARE so much about their customers, they put in the extra time to make sure you are comfortable and pain free. They call/text with you to answer questions about your proceedure to make sure you are informed and feel confident. I travel an hour to get to this office, and am so thrilled with Allie, I will continue to drive up north to get their cosmetic treatments and services.

Allie was knowledgeable and transparent about treatment options and general outcomes. With me being a woman of color, she was also open about the risk and impact associated with certain approaches to skin correction. Setting up appointment was quick. Entire staff is attentive and friendly. Reasonable prices and good location with great service — I highly recommend.
