Love this smaller campsite. Love the owners and helper. Been there a few times and they are so helpful. Last time there my husband needed medical care and they were right on it. ( by the way he is doing much better). We plan on being back after school starts. Lots of green grass, water and great walks. Restrooms were very well maintained as well as showers. Could use a tiny more water pressure but we could use our own. Give it a 5 all day long. See you soon🤗🤗

My family and I enjoy camping at Hat Creek. For one thing, the campground offers a number of amenities, such as a nice little store and a handy laundry facility. Plus, the restrooms and showers are well maintained, and they stay pretty clean as long as guests leave no trace, so to speak. Then the campsites themselves are nice. RVers can choose… either pull-through or back-into sites, complete with the necessary hookups. Tent campers can choose from grass or dirt sites. The grass sites are really nice, by the way. One of the best advantages of this campground is its proximity to a number

Nice campground. Clean showers. Large campsites. Beautiful views. Swimming pond. A bit windy at night so buckle down all u lightweight items and tents. But it’s a warm wind and is amazing as u watch the stars in the sky with the wind blowing. Will definitely b back.

Campers with dogs BEWARE!! When we arrived, we noticed that there were a lot of dogs running around with no leash. After watching dogs get attacked and my own ran up on multiple times, we decided to be proactive and let the office know. There are multiple signs posted that state dogs must be on a leash. When we told the owner (at lease I am assuming it was her) she said, "well we don't really enforce that. We let dogs run off leash." I should have packed it up right then and there. Against my better judgment I didn't. My dog was out on a walk (on a leash) and another dog (not on a leash), ran up

This was a beautiful place to stay. Unfortunately we had a group that was partying way past the 10 pm "quiet time" and then another group that woke up at 5 am and were talking loudly, so not much sleep. If we go back, will definitely choose a different spot away from others.

We really enjoyed our stay here. I was a little worried as reviews warned of rude staff. This could not be farther from the truth in my experience. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I’m guessing the people that wrote those reviews are the type to me mean to people in general. Don’t listen to those jerks.
We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. My daughter caught her first fish(s) here in the pond. Store is well provisioned and grounds are very well maintained. We will be back here for sure! Thanks for the great time.

Been going here since I was a kid passing the tradition down to my kids. Sadly I've moved away from California. I highly recommend this campground.

I have gone here for over 30 years. its still the most perfect place to camp. the sites have so much grass and beautiful views. nothing like a working cattle ranch to entertain you while you relax! showers, … flush toilets, laundry...... even a pond to enjoy some sun and swim. water is everywhere, so green and beautiful. thank you to the owners for keeping it the same!!

Too much dirt, dust and wind. RV spots are very narrow and don’t leave much room to have a campfire and dine outside. All the spots with full hookups are on the dirt whereas the more desirable spots on the… grass, under the trees, are just electric and water. The main bathrooms had multiple clogged toilets and very little water pressure in the showers. Our RV spot had 20 psi for water and our family next to us had lots of issues with their electrical breaker tripping. The staff was quick to respond to the toilets and electric issues and seemed to be very busy. This camp is in a great

Absolutely an amazing spot for entire family! Great for kids of all ages! Great for fisherman and fishergals too as well as a perfect hunting base camp. Friendly staff, general store with most basics. Kids can enjoy swimming, fishing, basketball, lawn volleyball, disk golf and more. Water at almost every site. Bathrooms were very clean, free hot showers, green grass makes summer camping more relaxing as its cooler and less dust. Fishing access along about 100 yards of hat creek or buy a daily fishing pass for planted trout in their private pond. 1 week there and cant wait to return!!!

Stopped in just passing through Hat Creek, and fishing the area when Google recommended this as a place to stay. We rolled in about noon, and get nice grassy spot. They had all kinds of fun stuff. Little fishing pond, cool little general store and friendly campers/guests. We ended up playing frisbee with some other campers and just had a blast. The fun offset the price, not that it was expensive, but backpack and forest camping was free in comparison. We're coming back with our rig, and leaving the backpacks at home next time.
