What a shame. For 20 years I have taken all my motor jobs to Tony at Allison's Machine Shop. Recently took a motor to him, just a simple tear down and rebuild. No machining required. Quoted 800, PAID 1300.
Let's list the issues:
1. Missing brand new water pump
2. Missing water pump pulley
3. Missing bolts from oil pan
4. Valve seals weren't replaced as this was the main issue
5. I was given a box of extra bolts( not the correct bolts for the oil pan) and no one knew where they came from....
6. I was charged 1300 bucks for nothing.
7. They reused old gaskets. Which caused a coolant leak
