Chartered with a two-fold mission of presenting quality professional artists to audiences in a theater setting and providing quality educational outreach programs to students in the greater Aiken community, APA has succeeded beyond its wildest dreams.

Over the course of the past fifteen years, APA has presented outstanding shows from all genres of music - including classical, jazz, brass, chamber, bluegrass, big band, Broadway, ethnic, rock and roll, and oldies - performed by nationally and internationally acclaimed individual vocalists and instrumentalists, bands and full orchestras.Dance, comedy, satire and variety programs have also been on the bill.

A Leavelle McCampbell Middle School student gets a flute through the Aiken Performing Arts Group's Instruments in the Attic project. Aiken Performing Arts (APA) is reaching out to many segments of the population of Aiken and beyond to enhance the quality of life of many individuals. The outreach programs also include the military and residents of senior living centers.

This sparkling trip down Motown's memory lane is written and directed by Motown producer and creative consultant George Solomon and award-winning producer/director Michael Chapman with choreography by Paul Holmquist.
In his new tour, The America I Grew Up In, Jeff's sidesplitting comedy drives home the humor in everyday family life, the ups and downs of marriage, the challenge of raising children, the bliss of the empty nest (followed by the unexpected returns to said nest) and the joys of being a grandparent.
