Services
YPAD believes that when you know better, you do better. As a result, YPAD courses are research based, educational courses with a trauma-informed approach for dance professionals and the dance industry as a whole. The mission of Youth Protection Advocates in Dance is to provide dance professionals with the skills and resources to protect and develop healthy, happy dancers.
My dance journey began when I heard a Broadway recording of "Annie" and realized that I wanted to do that, too. I came to SSPAC in 2015, when my youngest daughter changed dance studios-one of the best decisions we ever made! Fun fact: I won second place in the West Virginia State Social Studies Fair when I was in fourth grade.
A thirty minute introductory dance class for toddlers containing ballet and creative movement. Students are introduced to basic ballet vocabulary, while exploring movement and music in a fun, creative way. Our instructors use imagination games, upbeat age-appropriate music and props like scarves, hula hoops, tambourines and maracas to inspire and excite students about dance.
Yearly tuition is a course fee that is broken into 9 payments over a 36 week course year. The first payment is due upon registration, and the rest of the payments are due the 1st of each month, September-June. Monthly payments are due by the 1st of each month and can be made via cash, checks PayPal and all major credit cards either online via portals or in the studio.
