Yes, Spaces Realty, LLC d/b/a as Spaces Management and its Leasing Agents are licensed with Alabama Real Estate Commission. All property management companies and Leasing Agents are required to be licensed to manage and lease real estate in Alabama. We are the leading management company for condo rentals in Tuscaloosa as we also manage most condominium associations in Tuscaloosa.
We understand that satisfied tenants are the foundation of a successful property management company. We want your home to be a place you'll truly enjoy, a place where you will create wonderful memories for you and your family, or for your student while they attend The University of Alabama. Our commitment to your satisfaction does not end when you sign the lease.
At Spaces we want there to be healthy and responsible pet interactions for all residents, and we want to help create a community that welcomes everyone to a pet-responsible environment. Accordingly, we have enlisted www.petscreening.com to screen all residents and make sure everyone understands our pet policies.
Online through your tenant portal or at any PayNearMe location with the bar code provided by the office staff. We do not accept any payments in the office. You will need to notify your property manager and then apply through PetScreening.com. Once approved, a non-refundable pet fee will be charged ($350 for the first, $100 for the second) and monthly pet rent will be added ($30 for the first, +$10 for the second).

Seems as if the turnover is too high here within the management staff. I was talking with Heather about purchasing a place a few weeks ago, only to find out she wasn't there anymore when I called today with my final decision. She was very knowledgeable about everything with the process and had me at ease with my decision to buy. I'll keep looking, thanks for letting the bright spot in the office get away.

If I can give a negative star I would. This is the absolute worst HOA in the world!!! If you purchase a home & Spaces are over the HOA, RUN THE OTHER WAY!!! We have been here about 10 years & after they took over it has been HORRIBLE!! We cannot wait to sale our home to get away. The neighborhood is Maxwell Manor.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. We bought a house in Camden Lake last year. First time being under an HOA. I’m still trying to figure out what I pay over $300 a year for? There’s no playground, no “hangout” area, half of the street lights don’t even work, and the “lake” doesn’t have a sidewalk to go around it for safely walking. They are definitely pocketing money from everyone. They have all kinds of rules that you must follow but yet offer nothing enticing to even care to follow the rules. The board members, what a joke! Plenty of people are moving out and we are one

I first hand know what an outstanding company Spaces Management is. I have had two children graduate from The University of Alabama and while attending school in Tuscaloosa they lived in several of the properties they manage. Excellent communication, quality maintenance department and super smooth and easy move-ins. I highly recommend any of their properties.

The WORST property management company ever. I pay $115 a month in HOA for absolutely nothing. I have dead trees falling on my property that are past my property line. But spaces management is telling me its my responsibility to cut down a tree that's behind the fence of my townhouse. Then when they call & tell you that & leave a number if you have any questions they don't even leave a number that is theirs. If at all cost avoid this company.

If I could give less than one star I certainly would. I was told when I purchased my home that the HOA would maintain the front lawn. I received a letter that I would be fined for some weeds in my front yard. I received another letter recently because of some weeds again in my front lawn. my lawn service I hired wasn’t able to come due to a family emergency. So I purchased a lawnmower and tried to call several times to let spaces know what was going on. I received another letter and a fine. I’ve tried calling multiple times and left messages and sent emails. I’m not sure what this company

One star for the never answered phone call and email. Whenever I was in town or moved out and tried to call them, they never pick up the phone!!! I moved out of town in July then received a bill in September, with a service that I never used. I tried to call several times, never get answered. I also emailed, no answer as well. They are doing a fair job at maintenance.
Another thing that happened when I moved out was all the UHauls were gone during that week, so I asked the main office if I could have a grace period for one day. The premise for me to ask this was my roommate is still leasing the

I rented a condo/apartment through Spaces Management and the whole process was smooth and handled quickly. Specifically, Pamela and Faith were very helpful with all of my questions, quick to get everything looked over and returned to me, and have made me very confident in the management team of Midtown. I have dealt with some bad management teams in the past and am super grateful that this is not the case here!
