Situated at the edge of Armory Square in Syracuse, NY, the Rail Line is a modern events, meetings and gathering space. Our facility is a refined industrial complex built atop a classic Syracuse train trestle. Rail Line offers indoor seating; a full service bar; a large, ground-level courtyard; a private, exterior courtyard outside the dining and bar area; and rooftop access with garden.

The building was designed with an urban, rooftop farm and garden in mind. We've utilized the majority of the space for this purpose in order to provide fresh, locally-grown produce to our partner restaurants and catering companies. Adjacent to the garden is a patio with seating and a nice view of the courtyard below and the surrounding neighborhood.

Location & Parking Report

Built upon the elevated railroad track land running through the south end of historic Armory Square, the Rail Line offers free off-street parking as well as street parking out front. The off-street parking is available at the building level by entering and going UP the ramp on the north side of Clinton Plaza, BEFORE you pass the apartment tower.

Rob is a easy owner to work with!
Place is immaculate and everything is attention to detail!!
The Wi-Fi service is a DJs dream, no issues at all!

Attended a Birthday Party and I enjoyed every minute of it while social distancing and wearing a mask 😷. The venue was perfect, we were able to be inside and outside. The bartenders were Great and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks Robert Podfigurny 😊

Great establishment to hold events . Social distancing was being practiced and in effect. Workers and Manager gave great customer service. I had a pleasant experience for my first ever trip to Syracuse.

Amazing place. The owner stayed the whole time. Made sure everything went well. He was very accommodating and took great care of the bride and groom. Also both bartenders were on the ball, the wait for a drink was 15 seconds at the most lol.

We had a small private reception for about 100 people at this location recently. The room is a great size for an event like this (I don't know the capacity but I imagine we could have fit a few more people in). The bar is long and well stocked, the staff was professional and accommodating. Plus they have SO MUCH PARKING!! That's a rarity for a small event space downtown SYR. I will recommend this to others in the future.
