What started as a way to help family and friends in need has blossomed into Ramsey's Moving Systems, a fully licensed, professional moving company with a reputation of unbeatable customer service. I absolutely loved these guys! I have never seen a group of four guys work as hard, as efficiently, or as cooperatively as them.
Moving into a new home should be exciting, not stressful. You can relax knowing that your move is being carried out by a group of trustworthy professionals. It's better to be safe when it comes to the removal of junk, as our professionals know where to dispose of it and how best to remove it without causing any damage.
From high-rise luxury condominiums to apartments and households throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area, we're a moving company customers trust to get the job done, keeping them fully informed throughout this large transition. The thought of using a trusted, local professional like Ramsey's gives our customers peace-of-mind in knowing that their move will be accomplished to their complete satisfaction.
Moving your business to a new location can be a big undertaking, and you shouldn't do it alone. Sensitive to company downtime and available after hours and on the weekend, we're willing to do whatever it takes to facilitate an organization's needs so that employees can focus on what matters: the business.
We give customers the satisfaction of knowing that their movers will take into account personal preferences, situational circumstances, and everything in between. Whether it's downsizing from a larger home or switching rooms at a center, we'll make sure that all the bases are covered so that family members can concentrate on other important aspects of the move.

Update from 8/21/20 review. After 8 days of sone furniture having been left at the old property (not small stuff- including Weber grill, basketball nets, outdoor dining table for which they had delivered only the chairs) and broken furniture not fixed as they promised and no response to calls, voicemails and texts from Ramsey's, they finally called me. To scream at me. They appallingly accused me - after failing to even finish the job or send a bill- of trying to get out of payment all along, or of not having funds to pay them. They denied breaking my furniture or leaving it at the old property

I recently hired Ramsey's for a move, the short version is: I would not recommend them. "Good" customer service means nothing when there are no issues, real customer service is about how well a business deals with a problem when they occur. It is here that Ramsey's failed, even after given the opportunity to succeed.
Initially everything was wonderful, the owner came by to inspect all the items to be moved and provide a much more accurate quote. The quote came out to $1575 using 4 men for 6.5 hours, materials, $60 of mattress bags, and an hour of drive time. While large items

We bought our West Philly rowhouse in 2015, and we love all the details from its construction in 1886--especially because there have been some key improvements through the years. The previous owners installed the full-size washer and dryer on the second floor, and we really appreciated that, especially after our son was born in August 2019.

When he was one month old, the washer died, and we knew it needed to be replaced. And that's when we realized that thanks to those narrow nineteenth-century stairs, the only way to get the old machine out and a new machine in was through a second-floor

We asked for a quote to move a simple console piano and they came in at a very reasonable $357 for the 70 mile transfer. The moving guys did their job without any issues. The problem I have is when they delivered the piano they handed my wife a $550 bill! Ok, I understand maybe a 10-20% give on an estimate, but our increase was 56%. That's ridiculous. I have emailed the representative who gave us the estimate to complain but haven't heard anything back. Doubt I would recommend this company after this experience. Sad because everything started off great but what a disappointment at

Estimated move at six hours. They took ten hours. At over $200 an hour. When I called to ask why they were over the estimated time they were extremely rude and unprofessional. They didn't miss the estimate by a little bit, they were 66% over. One of the movers at my house told us the estimator, Scott, does that all the time. There are plenty of other moving companies out there. Nobody should even consider using this company.

We hired Ramseys on two occasions once for home and the second time for moving my office. We found the owners and staff to be very meticulous and professional.Pricing was also better than the other two quotes we received. We were very pleased with both jobs that they have performed for us and have recommended them to others.

The first was good as far as I recall except for my couch getting a bit dirty. The second move was into a very small storage unit. The third move was where I realized many things had gone wrong. My antique couch has several deep cracks in on the arms and is weakened and ruined, many other pieces of furniture such as desks and tables have deep scratches, etc. I have several family heirlooms like dishes and glasses that are broken and ruined. Boxes were placed in the wrong rooms all over the house which took many hours to locate and move around. I found one box empty. I have several lamps
