I have taught Kindergarten and First Grade in public schools on Long Island, New York for 32 years. I believe in teaching to the "top child"; that is, lessons and activities should be designed so that all children, regardless of their apparent capabilities or intelligence would challenge themselves to reach and stretch toward their highest potential.
This "journey" to the top might not always be with ease; there may be times of struggle. Yet, with the help of their parents and educators, the journey can become one of satisfaction and joy. The quest for knowledge is the greatest journey upon which one can embark. The process of maximizing a youngster's abilities produces a person who is strong, happy, confident, and independent.

Thank you for inspiring our children, for teaching them to love learning and for giving them the confidence to succeed. Childrens' first introduction to "school" is perhaps the most important time in their young lives! The two-year-olds' foundation for future growth is firmly established in the "Cupcake" program. A typical class will be as follows: Welcome - What Is today's weather? - attendance - introduction to the day's lesson/project - snack - playground (or play inside if raining ) - story time.
How exciting it is to be a three-year-old and "travel the world" with us. This year we explore outer space, look down at the continents and learn how they were formed, unravel the mystery of the change of seasons, gasp at the wonders of nature, and enjoy learning about hibernation, metamorphosis, migration, and the thrill of 'travelling' in outer space.
During the month of July, our Two-Year-Olds enjoy the outdoors during the five mornings of their Camp Program. Happily, they experience the friendship of their peers, as well as the care and nurturing of our teachers and counselors. Storytime, singing, and special programs round out the month. Parents and students alike have asked that the camp programs be extended into August, even until the beginning of the regular school year!
During the month of July, our 3 through 7-year-olds enjoy a traditional day camp experience. Arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and special daily events take place throughout the spacious building and shaded, secured backyard. Presentations by the science and aquatic museums, martial arts, dance, drama, pony rides and petting zoo highlight the program.

I am thrilled that my husband and I chose to send our children to Creations. They absolutely love going to school and adore all of their teachers! It is amazing to hear them talk about how a plant grows, the solar system or even count in French. My two youngest girls both went through Creations Preschool. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience here. My husband and I loved Mrs. Rosalie from the moment we met her. She truly loves what she does and it shows. Her students are her passion and the way she teaches them fosters a love for learning. Both of my girls loved every minute and LOVED going to school. It MORE than prepared them for entering Kindergarten. They are both excelling which I credit to them having such a great start at Creations! I only wish we lived here sooner so that my son could have had the same experience

Creations School was the best decision we made for our two daughters. The care, attention, and creative atmosphere that these wonderful teachers gave to our children was like no other experience we've had since. Ms. Rosalie has a profound understanding of children and how to communicate to them in a simple, kind and encouraging way. This is far from a Daycare or Nursery School. This was education based, but never did my kids feel like it was boring or overwhelming. They covered all subjects, including Foreign languages (Mandarin and French). I heard of Creations Preschool through word of mouth as a school holding a great reputation for education. When I enrolled my children I never thought that this school would have such a positive impact on my family. Creations is a school dedicated to teaching the whole child; emotionally, socially, educationally etc... Creations is a caring and devoted school that has prepared my children to enter Kindergarten with knowledge, confidence and a tremendous excitement to succeed. What an amazing investment in their future!!

Such a wonderful school! I love how kind and nurturing all of the teachers are to each individual child. My daughter has learned so much in the 2 years she has gone to Creations and she's loved every minute of it. As a parent of a preschooler, you want to be able to send your child somewhere where they can feel safe, make friends, be proud of themselves and have fun while learning and Creations is absolutely the place for that. It's going to be sad to leave it behind and move on to Kindergarten, but because of this school my daughter will be ready for it! Thank you Creations.

The Creations experience has been a wonderful one for my 3 year old. She was very reluctant to leave my side and had not been a fan of a previous preschool she attended. Mrs. Rosalie and her staff create a warm, welcoming and educational experience. It's truly a breath of fresh air to hear your child tell you about the solar system and what animals live in Africa with a huge smile on their face. I can not say enough wonderful things about Creations.

Creations is by far the best preschool out there! Currently, our two boys attend Creations and we're amazed everyday at what they are learning. In addition to the fantastic enrichment programs they have to offer, they explore the alphabet through learning about varied science and social studies topics. Creations is a wonderful preschool. Staff are truly qualified professionals in the field of child development and education. My kids are thrilled. They teach in a way that is fun and exciting and the children are able to retain everything they learn. My kids know more than I do! I tried the district's UPK but that was not what I had in mind for my children. I'm so happy I made the switch. Thank you Creations!
