Joseph Miller founded Miller's bicycle and baby carriage shop in 1908 in Harlem, New York. In 1948, Joseph's son Irving opened Miller's in Mamaroneck. The store was originally across the street from our current location, and less than ten years later moved into our current building. The store prospered with our first generation of Westchester customers in the 1950s and 1960s, primarily as a bicycle shop and burgeoning toy store.
Irv's brother-in-law Eric Morley joined soon after, and was also known to a generation of customers and children as Mr. Miller. And until very recently, Eric and his wife Zelda would continue to help customers select and wrap gifts during the busy holiday season. In the 1970s, Irv's daughter Diane and husband John McKiernan took over the business and essentially built it into the business that it is today.

Services
Since 1947, when Miller's Toys first opened our doors to Mamaroneck, in Westchester County, New York, our community has supported us and allowed us to share in the joy of the many generations of children learning and playing with our products. And though we don't sell online, we're more than happy to take some work off of your plate.
To prove you are a human and not a web-bot, please answer the following question: What color is the sky on a clear day? Take exit 18A for FENIMORE Rd toward Mamaroneck. Turn right at Fenimore Rd Turn left at Hoyt Ave (just before the train trestle) Turn right at next light, Mamaroneck Ave. We are on the 2nd block on the left, #335, with a red and white striped awning.
At Miller's, we bring the best toys from around the world to you and your family. They might be as simple as American-made alphabet blocks, or as intricate as our German Waldorf dolls. What they have in common is quality and play-value. We're also obsessive when it comes to safety. CPSIA? Phthalates?
Miller's stocks fully assembled bikes from Trek, Cannondale, GT, Electra, Schwinn Signature, Fuji and SE. We specialize in providing the entire family with a riding option, whether riding solo, carrying a child, tearing up the neighborhood, or simply mastering the driveway. Do you finally have some free time and want to get back into shape?
Whether you and your family have recently moved out of the City, and finally have a backyard, or you're simply looking to improve it, look to Miller's to help. Miller's can help you choose the most appropriate play equipment that will best stimulate your child's imagination and improve their strength, coordination, and confidence.

Ignore the other reviews, my experience here has been nothing but great. The people there are very nice and kind. I took one of my bikes to another local bike shop(can't say which) and they said they'd have it done in a week. One week later, they hadn't even looked at it. I took it here, they looked through the bike and gave me a date and a price. Honest people, would strongly recommend.

We take my kids here for their shoes and they do a great job - measurement is accurate, selection and quality are great. They never try to oversell you. This is one of the last places that actually measures and fits your child to a shoe in person. We value Miller’s greatly and the toys are awesome too!!

Store is horrible, and overpriced. Don't take your bikes there. You'll regret it. Owners also posted national politics in a hateful way to their social media. I am appalled by their behavior online, however it is not shocking because the staff is always extremely rude. Spend a few thousand dollars for bad customer service.

Nice selection of toys that include beautiful wooden blocks that are so magnificent I (at 59 years of age) want to play with and display in my home. Nice dolls, Brio, Lego, puppets, many games... I am always looking for that special toy store with European, old world lovely toys that are close to works of art (no Mattel, Barbie etc will do), this store is the closest to that anywhere around here! I have always experienced good, helpful service. I love that it's been there forever and is family owned.

I’ve been so happy with the bike I purchased earlier this year.
Last night I was riding on the trainer, and I noticed a bulge in the rear tire. I called the shop first thing this morning and a real nice mechanic Gary picked up and told me to come right down. He took me right in put the bike up on the rack, changed the rear and front tires. Then as an added bonus he tightened my chain and fixed a bent rear hanger. He let me stand there while he fixed the bike, because he knew I was dying to get back on it today. He answered all my questions and was really patient.

We were in the market for an outdoor ping pong table and ended up at Miller's. This was our first visit to this store. Upstairs is a large toy store with lots of great looking toys. Downstairs is a bike shop, and that's where the ping pong tables are. We were immediately greeted by a salesperson. He was knowledgeable about ping pong tables and was able to answer our questions. He was very familiar with the two models that they had. In less than half an hour, we walked out having made a purchase. We were told that we had timed our visit well because they could deliver our table that day

I came here to get my daughter's first bike. The staff seemed to not care at all. Was unwilling to stop their repairs and actually show what bicycles would work for a child her size. They made it seem like taking a bike out and showing a small child any level of kindness or excitement about her first bike as a bother. The only reason I gave two stars is because the upstairs selection of books is the only children books available for sale on the Ave.
I ended up going to the bike shop in Larchmont, receiving better service and free repairs for the bikes life.

I can’t recommend this store enough. I bought a Spring free Trampoline from their associate company, and since I am only visiting my American grandchildren for 2 weeks, really wanted to get it delivered while I was still in town. Everybody else told me it would be 2 weeks delivery , including them, but when I told them my story, they fit me in the next day. Taka was fabulous, especially when my Canadian credit card was denied. Apparently, it is a fraud thing. I then got it authorized and it was denied again, used my daughter-in-law’s card, then was able to use my own. All this took place from

If I could give a negative star, I would. Never before have I ever experienced the most expensive toy store that left me 5 year old son crying on our way out. Don't waste your time or money in this over priced local toy store. I tried returning a $37 water gun (yes, $37) but was told that I needed the box. Who holds on to a box? My son can't use it because it was too hard. I asked the manager for an exchange and was told no as well. For a local toy store, they sure know how to disappoint a local customer. I will never spend another nickel in their store ever again.

Awesome. They had all the stuff my toddler grandson needed for beginning soccer at 4 years old. A little pricey but the store is small enough to get everything fairly quickly. They have lots of help and the variety of toys, clothing, books were all carefully selected by the store owner. It was a pleasure to shop there with large bike department on the lower/street level. I heartily recommend this shop.

I am surprised to hear about the bad service in the bike store, I had a great experience the other week. I brought in my bike and a travel case (both purchased elsewhere), seeking help getting the bike packed up - I had been fighting with the pedals for hours. They had the whole thing packed up for me in like 5-10 minutes (they have a good setup with proper tools!), and didn't charge me anything though I offered several times. Super-nice.

Very nice people that work here--very helpful and know their products. You cannot get this type of service in a chain store. We purchased most of our child's things here when he was growing up and we continue to buy baby gifts here, presents for friends grandchildren and all sorts of great things. A wonderful neighborhood store!

My husband decided we needed to stop in to Miller's after brunch this morning. We're new to the neighborhood and just getting to know the shops along Mamaroneck Ave. This one's a lovely little find! Great selection of toys for children of all ages, a downstairs bike shop and a section with children's shoes and clothes. I'm surprised to see a review about bad service; we experienced the opposite. Everyone was very friendly while we were browsing and at the register (because yeah, we left with some loot). Glad to have this store nearby!
