There's twelve people that comprise Houston pool company Marquise Pools, four of which are the landscape architects and pool designers which handle the design and sales side. The rest of the staff are operations or project managers or the field side which Greg runs. Again, our big thing with our team is qualifications.

When people ask what makes Marquise Pools different from other outdoor pool companies, the credit goes to our Hi-Tech Design Team. Marquise Pools uses AutoCAD and Micro Station which are CAD programs. We then combine those design programs into Pool Studio. A lot of pool companies use but they're not using Pool Studio the way Marquise Pools uses Pool Studio.
This is our 20th year with Marquise Pools. Pool construction awards, publications and television coverage are important but our first priority is to deliver the projects. So sometimes you don't even seek out pool construction awards, they seek you, as in multiple appearances on HGTV. There are not very many pool companies in Texas that have been featured as many times as we have on HGTV.
Most companies in Houston Texas do not take the time to spend with the client and go look at two or three projects that are in their budget range. Number one they're probably lazy. Number two, they probably have a bunch of not very happy customers. Number three, they probably don't have a pool project that doesn't have a problem or a hiccup.

They did a beautiful job on the construction of the pool. We have about 1900 sf of travertine decking. For 9 of the past 12 years we have had to replace 30 to 60 pieces of travertine every year for 9 years. We made it just past the 3 year warranty before all the problems started. So if you do the math, it’s cost us 1500 to 3000 a year for the last 9 years. They washed their hands and all responsibility of us just after the 3 year warranty was barely up. The last photo is of the demolished travertine decking that we are having all replaced. I do not recommend Marquise pools.

Wanted to say a big thank you to Marquise Pools for our awesome pool. I have four friends that have also gotten their pool built by Marquise and we all love not just the pool but the entire experience. Greg and his team gave us the best design by far and followed up on every question and concern. When my wife and I made a few changes it was not a problem and they didn’t hit us with huge change orders. What a great job! I did a lot of shopping and comparing various pool companies but most of them were the same. Cookie cutter bare bones choices across the board. What I got from Marquise was a one of a kind, high end custom pool and entertainment area. From the design through the build process the customer service was awesome. Of course the weather impacted the schedule but the entire team did a great job getting the project done on time. Change orders, all of which were of my own request, where handle fairly. The warranty and after installation service has been awesome! Defective lights were replaced

My dad can't swim in our new pool because Marquise failed to install a handicap railing which was promised in the original contract. There were several other issues including many dead plants but the fact that my dad can't get in and out of the pool is the most upsetting. If the company cannot deliver pools to accommodate the handicap, they they should not make those promises. They changed subcontractors during the 18 month process. The project has not been completed. Disappointing

Chris and Greg of Marquise Pools built our pool in 2002. They did a wonderful job of designing and building the perfect pool for our new home in Spring. Chris also designed the landscaping. The project was handled perfectly and professionally. Since then we have had Marquise Pools come back to add a fire pit, spa and the most beautiful stone spillway. The following year we also had them build us an outdoor kitchen. People that step into out backyard think they are in Hawaii. Chris design all aspects of our backyard and made it all come together perfectly. We are so proud. I wouldn't consider letting
