Best tanning 'salon' experience ever. I say 'salon' because they offer more than tanning -- hydration bed, red light therapy, spray tan. I purchased a 3 month membership days before the pandemic was announced and now that they reopened, they honored my purchase. The staff and the owner, Wayne, are very friendly and knowledgeable. They take a lot of care with each customer. I love coming here. Thank you for all of your great customer service.

This place is pretty good as far as beds go! It is a real inconvenience the time they open though 11am is way to late by then the morning has gone! Most people love to tan before work or school but with this time it doesn't allow you to! I've spoken to many people who are detoured because of the times!!

The ladies that work here always really sweet. Before Covid-19 the place was always really clean and sanitized. After COVID the only difference is that mala are required upon entering and leaving the facility and of course can't forget the temperature check at the door.

They wouldn't provide me pricing for tanning beds over the phone. A friend told me they could be up to $75 PER SESSION for their good beds. This is absolutely absurd. With the extremely rude way WAYNE (I'm assuming their crappy owner) responds to critics on yelp, it goes to show their mentality toward potential customers: very poor.

I will try elsewhere: this place sucks.

This is a follow for that joker Wayne. $38 plus and enrollment fee of $100 bucks. How about you say everything before u screw people . Wack jobb

Natalie was amazing!! I just moved to the area and after checking out a few other spots it was a breath of fresh air to talk to her. She listened to my needs and wasn't caught up in trying to sell me a package right off the bat. I honestly felt like she cared about what I wanted and was super genuine. I'm so happy I have a new tanning spot and with a staff that actually cares about you.

This place is a rip off. Isn’t worth the time and quality of the tanning. Spray tan turns your orange and barely stays on for 3 days, I’m an experience tanner and have never had this problem and moisturize correctly and use double dipping bronzing lotion. Manager won’t let me cancel my membership even though an employer mislead me by comparing the versaspa to the versapro. I do not reccomend this place.

I just went in to get a tan because of a groupon. I didn't purchase the groupon yet, trying to give the business my direct busines

I haven't been tanning in a bed since I can't even remember. I was told that because the last time I was in the shop was 17 months ago (not their new client rule of 18 months) they couldn't offer me the introductory pricing. The last time I was there was for a spray tan, that was awful so I never went back. I was going in this time hoping for a new experience with a bed tan and instead I received poor customer service and a rude employee.

I've been to about 6 different tannings salons and cop a tan is best by far. The price for their unlimited membership beats every other tanning salon I've been to and offers more services. The location has great parking and the facility is always clean. The staff was very friendly and informative as wel!

Try calling and asking for pricing on a package and or a single session spray tan. "We can not provide the information over the phone"
I stopped in to purchase 1-5 sessions of spray tanning and the girl was not able to provide any information regarding the solution they use. When it came down to pricing, it was very obvious that she was trying to overcharge. Her math didn't add up as she was convincing me to purchase more than one session. Funny thing is that same afternoon a friend of mine stopped in for a single session and of course the price that another girl had quoted her

Worse customer service! Today, for example, I had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Mike. Since last October, I've been told that notes were left in my account regarding missing package credits I've purchased. I only come maybe once a month and typically purchase 5 packs/package tanning sessions each time.
Low and behold..I arrive today and am told this is my LAST pack in my package. I speak with the "manager, mike" he looks through my account and tells me that there is nothing in my account reflecting that I've purchased more packs. I ask him if he can review my cc

I tried to go grab a quick tan before an event tonight didn't know the cashier was going to get into a semantic debate trying to use cheap sales tactics to get me to spend more money. I literally walked in and had to beg to just get 1 base session. She would NOT let me do what I asked for... what the heck?! I didn't realize tanning has turned into neurosurgery where cashiers tell you what you can and can't do? She was trying to get me to buy 5 sessions!! What a joker... I walked out and will not be walking back in. I advise who ever is looking to tan in the area to do the same..

This place is such a rip off and has horrible customer service. Last time I tanned there I bought a two week pass and couldn't go more than twice Because I received the worst burn line that did not go away for several months.

I have been going to Cop-A-Tan at this location for a while now. I started at the location in Redondo but since I've moved this location is very convenient. It's a short drive from my place or I like to stop by on my way home from work.

It is always clean and tidy and the staff is great. If you ever have any questions they are very knowledgeable and helpful. I like the variety of beds and packages that they offer. I also really like that they allow you to suspend your package if you need to. I did over the summer and it was perfect that it kicked right back in when fall started.

I'm visiting from out of state, I tan regularly, & have a pretty good idea on what I'm doing. I spent $75 on a small package & the guy says "it's a 15 min bed, but I'll let you stay in for 8 min". Kind of strange, but ok. It was nothing. So I went back today & asked if I could stay the full 15. The answer was a strict "I can't let you stay 15 minuets". She pointed out how pale my chest is as her reason. Yup, it's pretty pale. But the rest of me is clearly tanned. I suppose it's no ones Business as to why I cover my chest and neck

This place is overpriced and has a very manipulative contract. When I tried cancelling last month, I was told I would have to do it earlier than 7 days before the end of the month. That person was either lying or explaining it in a very confusing way, because today I was told the notice must be given over 30 days(!) ahead of time. He tried to convince me to 'freeze' my account for $5 per month in order to avoid the new membership fee in the future, but the problem with that is that memberships can't be cancelled while an account is frozen, so if the member decided to not come back

I just want to commend the service and pleasant experience that I have EVERY TIME I come to this location in Manhattan Beach.

Amy is so awesome and always greets me, and gives me great service. She will do whatever it takes to get me taken care of too. Yesterday I came in and both Gold Beds were taken, and she offered to allow me a try on a better bed so I might upgrade, and although I declined, I felt she did it to get me served, not just trying to upsell me.

Amy is always nice and in a positive mood which is refreshing after dealing with people that have a poor attitude at other business establishments

Horrible. Been coming here since 2003. I've always done the Mystic. I've always paid 59 for monthly unlimited and I've let my membership expire numerous times since I travel for work and there are some months I'm not in town. For 13 years, they always just start it back up no problem. Today the girl informs me it's 99.00 to restart it. I told her I've never been asked to pay an startup fee. So now leaving and will never give them business after 13 years of going there. And the girl working there was a nightmare. Super disorganized and no customer service. Actually rude.

I've been coming to the Manhattan Beach location for a while now and I absolutely love it. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable of all the beds and products. I've recommended this place to a few of my friends and they love it as well. Super clean and even with the volume of people that come in there is rarely a wait and if you ever have to wait it's only a couple minutes. Best tanning place I've ever been to.

This place USED to be fabulous. The employees knew what they were doing and the service was consistently great. After the long time manager left, it has progressively gotten worse. I am a member of the tanning club which means I pay a monthly fee for unlimited spray tans. They got the versa spa and the only way I get color (without going everyday) is to do a level 3, which is of course an additional fee.
I understand that, but what I don't understand is why the EXACT SAME SERVICE has such a variable fee. Some days it's $4.00, some days it's $2.00 and today it was $1.73. LOL!! Maybe the owner should

Let me start by saying I wasnt a fan of Cop-A-Tan or Ucatan for that matter the people that worked there where cool but they never changed the bulbs it got so bad I memorized the bulb numbers. After a friend sold his equipment to cop-a-tan they also got my contract I was not pleased but sense going to Rosecrans im supper happy its managed really well the place is clean and iv personally seen them change the bulbs multiple times its a good place with good people.
