MarLo Dance Studio opened its doors in 1999 with two co-founders/teachers, Maria Merriam and Lois Henry instructing in ballet and tap respectively. This fall we will enter our 22th Anniversary season with a staff of 4 plus guest teachers.
The staff at MarLo believes that dance training provides a mentally and physically healthy interest, valuable life skills such as respect, teamwork, commitment, creative expression and the achievement of personal goals.We are a performing arts school! MarLo's annual spring productions are major community events; not just for parents and friends.

Pilates, Yoga Lates, do not have a registration fee. First Time Visitors - $10, Drop-ins - $12, Punch Card - 5/$55. Participants also enrolled in Dance classes may bundle Fitness classes into their monthly tuition. September is pro-rated 1/2 price. Thereafter tuition is same regardless of absences or holidays.
Ballet Acceleration is an integral part of MarLo Ballet training. Classes meet on average twice monthly with a variety of instructors, both in-studio and guests. Class is required for all students on pointe or pre-pointe. Intensives are apprpopriate for Accel level students. All Accel students should continue their dance education through the summer at MDS. Intensives are supplemental to regular class attendance.
Think of MarLo Dance Studio to host your next event! We provide your invitations, party leader, the entertainment, games, crafts, goodie bags, and a fully decorated space. You provide the cake, refreshments and paper products. Choose from three fabulous themes. Small and large group options available.

MarLo Dance Studio is a one of a kind place that is well loved and respected in the town and surrounding areas.… Maria is truly amazing with the kids and my girls have adored her class. You feel like you are part of a family when there. In the spring a production is put on and it is very professional. Seats will sell out! I highly recommend to any and all ages who are interested!
