Red Oak Fabrication has been serving Southwest Iowa since 1913. Quality service has been our standard since Red Oak Machine Co. was established in 1913 as the Pike Machine Shop. Pike Machine Shop was changed in 1923 to Red Oak Machine Co. Ted Fort Began employment as one of the three in the shop in 1928.
Ted, Then in 1944, purchased a half interest in the business and eventually the other half in 1946 when J.C. England retired. In 1931 Red Oak Machine Co. began selling Linde Oxygen on a pickup basis. Ted's son, Bill, launched the outside-sales of oxygen and welding supplies in 1946, following his service in World War II.

Services
Red Oak Fabrication is a turn key job shop. We operate out of 3 locations, all in Red Oak, IA. Our North facility (2400 N Broadway) houses our powder coating, plate rolling, manual and robotic welding. Our South facility (103 S 3rd St.)houses our plate processing equipment. Lastly our central location (306 N 3rd St), this is where it all started.
Our manual batch powder coat line boast 12,000 sq ft. We offer steel 80 grit blasting and 3 stage wash system. Our blast booth will fit anything inside a 12x8x24 foot print. Our Powder coat booth will fit anything inside a 10x8x24 area. With our over head rail system we can support up to 1,000lbs per load bar, with endless possibilities for large batch part runs.
