Services
Individual therapy is frequently done in combination with family or group therapy and, when needed, psycho-pharmacology. For children, it may take the actual form of play therapy, art therapy, or several other applicable forms depending on the child's age, developmental level and diagnosis. Dr. Sapia has two certified pet therapy dogs, Keyser and Cooper, who also play a role in therapeutic services for children and adults.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I hold a Masters degree in Counselor Education with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working with a variety of clients, including children and adolescents, college-aged populations, and young adults.
