We usually have camp sites available, but you may want to call us, Chris and Teresa Adams ahead of time at 740 - 667 - 3072 to make sure or to find out about our rates. We have fishing and swimming available, with other activities at our pavilion. On some weekends with volunteer help, we offer pancake breakfasts, soup bean dinners, ice cream socials, corn roasts, and pot luck dinners.
These activities are fun and are designed to make everyone feel welcome, but are optional. Be sure to view our Seasonal Activity List. We hope the photos below show Carthage Gap the way we see it. We believe every time you pull into the campground, you'll feel the breath-taking beauty of the campground and the surrounding countryside.

We were passing thru this area anjd we stayed 2 nights in a pull-thru. Chris and his wife were helpful in getting us to our site. We didn't use any of the facilities but observed a very clean park, quiet setting and right off the highway. If ever in this area again, we will stay here. Thanks. A & L from Florida

I stayed at Carthage Gap Campground for 4 nights (June 2021). When I arrived with my trailer the owner (male) was very hostel and controversial when I stated that I was to be placed in a pull through site which was what I reserved. He called me a liar and that I was never told that and wanted to refuse me a camp site and return my deposit. He then changed his mind and took my cash. The campground roads are lined with marker posts about every 10 feet on both sides of the narrow roads and large rocks on every corner which makes navigating through very difficult not to rub a post or damage a wheel

Nicest campground we have been too! Everyone so friendly yet COVID aware. Nice big camp sites. We used one of their pull through sites for our 38foot camper. No issues at all. Felt very safe. Grounds nicely maintained. Even had an ice cream truck come around both nights which was fun. Recommended without reservation.

Amazing place to get away. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Pond has plenty of fish, playground is in great shape and if your up for some basketball the court is nice. Laundry facilities onsite were a bonus.
Also, they hold well planned events around the holidays. It really makes you feel like your part of a small community filled with nice people.

I've been to a few campgrounds since I started camping but this by far is the nicest one and I'll be back. When I arrived was greeted at the truck and the owner talked to me then her husband came around and took us to the campground where we were staying it was a pull through site which made it easier for me and had water , elec, and sewer love it here very quiet.
