I'm Franciska Anderson, the founder of the clinic. My practice is rooted in Asian Medicine--one of the earliest forms of Functional Medicine--with a modern twist. From its very beginnings, Asian Medicine seeks out the root causes of imbalances in the body, whether it is structural, nutritional, emotional, or spiritual.
I bring a common sense functional technique to the treatment room to provide you with an understanding of why your body is out of balance, how I can help and, most importantly, how you can help yourself. Additionally, I am intuitive with clairaudient and clairsentient abilities. This creates a partnership that includes you as an active participant in your wellness journey.

Services
Electroacupuncture - Uses current through two acupuncture needles to help an area of injury heal faster and to reduce pain. Moxibustion - Considered a thermal therapy, moxibustion stimulates circulation, counteracts cold and dampness in the body, and promotes the smooth flow of blood and qi. Guasha - Is the scraping of an area of skin with a smooth instrument until a "sha" rash or petechiae is surfaced.
It is our heartfelt purpose here at Pivotal Point Wellness Center to provide top-quality wellness care for our patients; to inspire and inform those who have lost hope of regaining their health; and to communicate broad-reaching healing concepts to the public and our colleagues via seminars, blogs, and social media.
Like many of you, I've had my own health challenges, all of which inform my work in the healing arts. When I was in my twenties, I was blessed to have worked for the Father of Enzyme Nutrition, Dr. Howard F. Loomis, Jr. He healed my gut using enzymes and herbs and helped me understand why I was feeling so crummy.
As the world around us changes as we know it, the most important thing still remains our health. In order to shift with the changing times to continue serving my existing patients with the best treatments and care, I am now taking bookings for virtual sessions. What is telehealth or a virtual visit?
A large portion of how I practice is through customized nutrition. Nutrition, as Dr. Howard Loomis sees it, is the child of all the sciences yet no profession fully owns it. Most diet gurus, diet fads, and dietary advice focus on what is good for the general population, yet no regard is given to whether an individual can actually digest and assimilate what is being eaten.
