I hired John on a simple project - what a huge mistake. If you're doing a simple copy/paste formulatic template website that John probably already has assets for, he can throw that together. Ask for something custom however, and he'll gladly take your money but wont deliver. That is what happened to me. A basic framework was promised within a week, yet after a month, it never happened - just excuses. He even had the nerve to hand off the project to an intern, and that's exactly what the work looked like. Also note that he nickle and dimed me the whole time - charging me 75% up front even though

Ok, I have been putting off getting my webpage up and running for some time now. I stumbled upon an add on yelp, and decided to give them a call and see what they could help me with. I am usually very skeptical when it comes to web designers. So, I scheduled a meeting with John, the Owner, and things were a little shaky at first. I am not the most technical savvy, and was slightly overwhelmed with options.
