Dr. Matthew Ricks, owner and founder, is the only fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon in Kansas outside of the Kansas City metro area. In addition, general dermatology is also offered for the treatment of mole removal, nail fungus, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and full-body skin exams.

Dermatology Report

Mohs surgery is highly specialized surgical treatment for the re-moval of skin cancer and is named after its founder, Dr. Fredric Mohs. The technique involves the controlled removal of the skin cancer and its microscopic examination. This is accomplished by keeping the tissue mapped out and oriented through the entire process of the procedure.

Great experience. They were able to get me in quickly despite being a new patient and being booked up pretty solidly. The provider I saw took her time to explain my treatment plan and was very reassuring and knowledgeable about the procedure I had to have done. All the staff I interacted with were super pleasant and professional. Highly recommend!

My experience at Rick's Advanced Dermatology on February 17th was Five Star.. The receptionist were friendly and helpful. My 10:00am appointment was right on schedule. I did not have to wait to I be called. The nurses were professional, caring , friendly and caring. Could not have asked for a better experience.
