Services
Tiny Tumblers is designed to teach gymnastics fundamentals using levels 1 & 2 of our pre-school curriculum. Motor skills and basic gymnastics skills are taught, mixed with less structured educational play on our Pirate Ship, Bounce House Castle, games and songs. The program helps establish a firm foundation of fitness on the preschool level, while also introducing many basic academic and social skills.
Intermediate Tiny Tumblers is for girls and boys ages 4 through Kindergarten who have had previous instruction and have passed levels one and two of Girls Classes our pre-school curriculum. Students new to River City must be evaluated for placement in this class. Tiny Tumbler Stars is for girls and boys ages 4-6 who have had previous instruction and have been recommended for this class.
We currently offer a special needs class for children with Autism, Down's Syndrome, or other conditions that might prevent participation in other classes. Parents come into the gym with students to aid in the learning process. Activities rotate between structured and free choice to best stimulate learning and fun.
Boys work on all gymnastics apparatus including floor exercise, rings, parallel bars, high bars, and vault. They also work on trampoline and the 40' long tumble trampoline. Students progress through our boys' curriculum in addition to other basic gymnastics skills. The Pirate Ship, Castle Bounce house, pits, games and other special activities are utilized to enhance the gymnastics experience.
The River City boys teams are widely considered to be among the best teams in Arkansas. They have achieved this recognition by consistently performing well at state, regional and national championships for years. We can think of no better way to teach boys important life lessons than through the medium of competitive gymnastics.

My daughter who is four wanted to desperately start gymnastics. I grew up going to River City and felt it was a great facility. This place is a disorganized mess. The staff was very rude to me the first day of class. Never greeted me but was real quick to ask me where my daughters mask was. I had four children with me, and clearly had my hands full. It was never intentional. Instead of introducing herself or be kind, she was down right hateful. The whole program for her age group is a unorganized mess. They lady who has taught my daughters class does NOT need to be working with young kids. My daughter

Love this place! Great people and awesome environment! Whether it's for fun, competition, or a birthday party, they know gymnastics! Family-friendly atmosphere and staff that WANTS to be there and provide your children with a fun experience. Make sure you ask for Coach Reagan when you stop by, she's the best and loves showing everyone how much fun gymnastics can be.

We had our 4 year old's birthday party here and were impressed with the facility and the "party coaches" provided to lead the kids through the gym. However, after paying several hundred dollars to have a party we were asked to tip the coaches. I didn't mind paying the coaches, but wish they would have been upfront when we were planning the party that the coaches are provided but expect an additional tip.
Fast forward to summer break.. we signed up for a Tiny Tumblers class. As one review has already stated, the teachers were young and not trained in teaching small children. My daughter and her

Always professional this gymnastics training is comprehensive. My daughter started out with their Tiny Tumblers classes and has since gotten hooked. They have a glassed in waiting room where you can watch most classes from, and they offer a wide array of classes. My son even jumped in by going to the toddler classes, he just couldn't let big sis have all the fun!
