Ryoko received her Pilates Mat and Equipment certification from the Kane School of Core Integration, NYC in 2008. She began her journey with Pilates after several injuries through her dance career.
She began addressing habits and imbalances which resulted in injuries and began retraining her body. The shedding and re-patterning of what the mind and body held slowly began to make way for a more efficient body. Her personal journey has inspired her to share her work and empower as many people as possible.

After years of being a nanny, Tara branched out to find a career that furthered her love of caring. She strives to understand the needs of the body while holistically caring for her clients.
I never thought that online Pilates instruction could be effective and rewarding until beginning to take The Pilates Space's new web-based offerings. After just one class, I feel physically refreshed, enlivened, relieved and profoundly nourished, body and spirit, by TPS team. While I am far away in Houston, I felt as embraced, challenged, stimulated and educated by Ryoko, Shannon, and their team as if I were right there in GB.

This is a beautiful space with amazing up to date equipment. The atmosphere is relaxing and therapeutic. Sarah Beth, Shannon and Ryoko have created a pilates studio that meets the individual variations of their clients. They are beyond professional in their approach and knowledge of the human body and what makes it work. From my own experience they are able to adapt pilates by thoroughly accessing one's needs. This is a five star studio.

My experiences at the Pilates Space have been eye opening in what I have learned about balance and restoration of function in my own body.
I have had many years of pain and limitation in my back and legs from my work as well as my sports participation. Sara Beth has used the Pilates approach to augment my physical strengths and correct the deficiencies in my mobility.
