Services
The Avalon is proud to offer Assisted Living & Adult Social Day Program services to the elders of our community. We are proud to both value the lives that our residents have lived, while also acknowledging that life in Assisted Living is worth living. Within the assisted living facility, we provide a full range of services to each resident.
As a local, family run operation, we aim to make our services accessible to all who need them. The Avalon is therefore proud to offer both private pay as well as Medicaid funded Assisted Living options. By offering both options, the Avalon can complete its mission to serve the entire community, regardless of payer source.

This place should be closed down. They endangered the welfare of my family member who has dementia. This facility knows my family member needs to be watched and yet, they allowed him to leave the facility and wonder through traffic. Received a phone call from an incompetent and unprofessional supervisor, Shakeera, at 1:00 a.m. this morning telling me my loved one should never have been brought to their facility and that there are no Registered nurses on staff. When I brought my loved one to this facility, Teresa Marie Mulligan, the Administrator, told me my loved one would be well cared for.

I am a professional entertainer who stages music performances at Avalon on a regular basis. I have found the staff to be such caring and professional people who give the comfort and respect the residents deserve. In addition to performances by myself and others, the recreation department provides a host of other activities.

There is a strong lack of care here...grandmother was there, she was in and out of the hospital because no one was taking care of her, we found her outside on a bench while it was 90 degrees and was suffering from heat exhaustion and shortly one month later she fell and broke her hip due to no supervision and she died a few days after. Don't bring your loved ones here...if I could give negative stars I would.
