Services
Paramedics and EMT's are available 24-hours-a-day to service the emergency needs of the Hoopa Valley and surrounding areas. With stations in both Hoopa and Willow Creek, the teams are trained in 12-lead, white-water rescue, ropes-over-the-bank rescue, fire rescue and other emergencies. While in constant contact with emergency personnel, the ambulance teams transport patients to the appropriate hospitals or levels of care.

Kima:w Medical Center has obtained certification from Joint Commission as a Primary Care Medical Home. Our goal is to provide high quality, patient centered care. Although we are currently short staffed we support your right to a designated primary care clinician who involves you in developing your own treatment plan.
The Hoopa people call themselves Na:tinixwe which means "people of the place where the trails return". Because of the remoteness of the lands inhabited by the Hoopa people, the contact period with non-Indians in this region was much later than other Native people in California and was largely due to the Gold Rush that started in 1849.
Hello all, K'ima:w Medical Center has started a Federal account with AT&T through their Native American Division.
