Nouis Home at Pine Edge, formerly the famous Pine Edge Inn, is a beautiful facility located in downtown Little Falls, Minnesota. Initially constructed in 1923, the "Pine Edge" is a well-known meeting place in central Minnesota. The Pine Edge (formerly the Pine Edge Inn) is located one block south of downtown Little Falls, a town of 8,300 situated in the very center of Minnesota.
The primary services that we offer include accommodations, medical monitoring, transportation, and dining. More specifically, we offer central storage of medication, 24-hour awake staff, weekly laundry service, housekeeping, RNs on staff, and 3 hot home cooked meals a day. Private and semi-private rooms are available with rates varying depending on the services and amenities required by each resident.
A. Nouis Homes are ideal for anyone who is mostly independent and wants to remain so for as long as possible. The "Pine Edge" is for anyone who is not ready for a nursing home or skilled nursing care. It is for the person who can get around by themselves and take care of most of their personal grooming needs.
The "Pine Edge Inn" had its origin in 1923 when it was built by the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks 770, and was first known as the "Elks Hotel." A plaque recognizing the builders of the Pine Edge is located at the entrance of the building. The two-story structure with brick exterior faces Little Falls First Street to the east, and provides spectacular views of the Mississippi River and Maple Island Park in the west.
If traveling north from Royalton on Highway 10, take the first Little Falls exit as you approach the city. Stay on this road (County Road 76) until you reach the downtown area. Look for the large brick building with pillars and flags out front. If you are traveling south on Highway 371 from Brainerd, take the first Little Falls exit and stay on County Road 76 until it reaches the downtown area.
