Boone-Central Title Company's "roots" grow deep in Boone County's historical past. Our history began when Todd and Bayless Abstract opened its doors in 1898 and later became known as Bayless Abstract Company, owned and operated by William K. Bayless. The company was later purchased by Daniel Boone County Abstract Company, headquartered in what is known as the Guitar Building on 8th Street.
Title Insurance owner's policy rates are based on the sales price of the property, while lender's policy rates for refinances are based on the loan amount. Had an excellent, excellent experience with this company while buying a house recently. For whatever reason, when I got close to closing on the house, I was having trouble getting a hold of my realtor. So, I tried contacting Boone Central.
First, their automated phone system is very good. Within about 20 or 30 seconds or so, it gives you the option to contact the operator. When you select that option, within a couple of rings, the operator picks up. I ended up calling Boone Central three or four times and every time I selected the option for operator a live person would answer almost immediately
