When you arrive at Prescott Preferred Chiropractic, a staff member will warmly greet you and present you with an intake form and medical history sheet that will help us better care for you. We will guide you through the forms, answer all your questions and help make sure the new chiropractic patient process runs smoothly.
However, he decided to attend Chiropractic school as a 'second career' following an amazing healing experience with his fourth son and a Chiropractor in Tempe, AZ. The story is told that at the first appointment Dr. Nelson sat in the car while his son was adjusted, the second time he sat in the reception, the third visit he watched in amazement and asked "How can I do that".
The central nervous system, which comprises of our brain and spinal cord, is the only system that is directly protected by bones. These bones make up our spine. When specific bones in your neck are out of position and unable to move properly, it can put stress on your nervous system and on surrounding muscles which can result in headaches.
I was very skeptical about chiropractic, but being in extreme pain (on a scale of 1 -10 I was between a 9 and a 10) I was willing to try anything. I came to Dr. Nelson where I was greeted by smiling and helpful people. After just one session I felt relief within four hours. I could not believe the difference I experienced.

I'm not a "regular" chiropractor goer. I am moving 'over-the-hill' and this is only my second experience with a chiropractic office due to injury. That said, my experience here has been far different and far more effective than the other office I briefly went to. The entire staff is genuine and caring and makes you feel comfortable immediately. The office visits/plans are a bit more affordable as well which is just a huge added plus. I certainly recommend.

My compliments to the staff and Sally who run the front desk. Everyone was so polite, friendly and efficient. I have never had such a complete assessment of range of motion, balance, stability, and flexibility. Only then did I get my adjustment. I felt so much better. I slept over 6 hours. That's a record for me. Thank you so much. Fantastic job.

Wonderful and caring practice. Everyone is so caring, compassionate, dedicated, loving and passionate in caring and treating their patients. You will feel welcomed and well treated by all the staff, from Sally at front desk, Drew and Shirley in treatment rooms.
Dr. Nelson is the best chiropractor I have ever had. His adjustments have greatly improved my condition and reduce my lumbar and leg sciatica pain. In addition I have been doing non surgical spinal decompression on the clinic's machine which has improved my spinal condition. I can now resume most activities that I could not do before coming

I was in pain with my lower back one day so I googled chiropractors because I wasn’t seeing any improvement from the chiropractor I had been seeing , and these guy’s popped up, I called and they answered the phone even though they were closed that day they took me in for an exam. I thought that was pretty special. I have been coming here for only a couple of months once a week and I feel better than I have in a long time. 😁👍 I just love everybody here everyone is very caring and takes the time to listen to your concerns about certain parts bothering you. This is a great place to get healing! The staff is very professional and genuinely care about your healing journey! I have recommended them to friends and family. They keep up to date and educated in the Chiropractic profession and know healing and adjustment techniques that other Chiropractics in the area do not use. I also like how they use massage and physical therapy along with the Chiropractic service if it is needed. Personally, I have sought their help after having 2 major accidents and have come out for the better! As well as... maintenance adjustments, adjustments during pregnancy, adjustments

Dr. Nelson and his staff are very polite and friendly. Dr. Nelson really listens to your physical problems and adjusts accordingly. I had some one who adjusted me too aggressively and I was always in pain. I go routinely to stay adjusted. It's helped a lot with my migraines. I would highly recommend!
