Duchess Environmental Construction just finished decommissioning an old underground tank that was buried 48 inches below ground and half under a sidewalk.and a flower garden at the front of the house They did an amazing job. They showed up on time with clean and operating equipment and they put everything back together, we are extremely happy with them. In this day and age finding someone to say what they do and do better than what they say is almost unheard of. I highly recommend them, Highly

DEC did the job of removing our old oil tank, digging out the contaminated soil and came back to monitor the dry well until it came up clear and the case was closed. The low rating is for the terrible back-fill job they did. They only put enough to make it sort of level. As soon as there was wet weather, the whole area sank several inches and the soil eroded. Now there is a very low spot where water collects. They said our homeowners' insurance would have to pay for more fill (insurance refused) or we could pay them about $1000 to complete the job. They never came back to remove the dry well pipe

After having a oil tank spill, I started to research for vendors to replace my oil tank. Dutchess wasn't the cheapest one, however, the way they presented their service assessment, with professionalism and courtesy, lead me to choose them for the job. I certanily got it right. They did an outstanding job which I recommend to anyone. Hopefully I won't need to call them again :) but if ever need to, they will be my first and unique option, regardless of price.
