The miracle we've been waiting for is here: The Solea Laser. Now available to our patients, Solea is a powerful dental laser that replaces the dental drill in the majority of procedures in our practice. In fact, nearly every patient skips local anesthesia i.e. The Solea CO2 laser is the ideal instrument for performing tongue and lip-tie release i.e.
The goal of Preventive Dentistry is to prevent cavities and gum disease through regular check-ups, cleanings, and fluoride application in our office. Most importantly, it requires daily participation from you and your child at home by brushing, flossing, and a healthy diet. Child and parent education ("anticipatory guidance") is at the heart of preventing dental problems and maintaining a healthy mouth.
Tooth decay is the most common childhood disease in America. It is a bacterial infection that causes breakdown of the outermost layer of the tooth. Tooth decay starts as a white spot on the tooth that can progress to a cavitation (hole) within a matter of months. Left untreated, the bacteria in the cavity spread to the nerve of the tooth, and from there can cause a serious infection.

We had a wonderful experience at Walla Walla Pediatric Dentistry! The staff was friendly and professional- the receptionist greeted our daughter by name (and it was our first visit!). Dr. Stacey took the time to explain the procedure and answer all of our questions. She truly had our daughter’s best interest in mind. I really appreciate this office and would highly recommend them!

It was a delightful first experience for my 2-year-old. The staff kept her distracted from anything that might upset her and praised her endlessly. She loved choosing where to put the toy token to get her present. Ten minutes after we left, she said she wanted to “go dentist.” What impressed me most is how much she wanted to brush her teeth the next day; she even asked me to help!

I was referred here by my sister in law, and was very impressed!! My son, whom is 4 years old, does not do well with dental visits and the Dentist here had him smiling and completely calm! The staff and Dentist didn’t push anything on my son if he was scared or didn’t want to do something specific, they just went with the flow and kept him happy. The staff were so great with working with both of my kids and excellent at communicating with me as well. I would highly recommend this dental office for any parents who struggle to bring comfort to a child who hates going to the dentist office.
