Here's the gist: we don't bill any insurance. Become a member of our practice for an annual fee, and get unlimited office visits, your doctor's cell phone number, and a whole lot more. Did you know that most Primary Care Providers have more than 2,000 patients? We limit our practice to fewer than 500 patients total.

That means that Dr. Johnson spends more time with you when you need her. Plus, when she is not actively seeing a patient, she is able to help coordinate your care and research your treatments. Pinnacle Medicine does not bill any insurance plans, so you won't have a middle-man in your primary care. Decisions about your healthcare will be made by you and Dr. Johnson without the impersonal management that comes from third-party payers.
Services
As a direct primary care provider, we focus on you and your health without the influence of unnecessary third party restrictions. We see far fewer patients than a traditional insurance-based practice so we can provide you the best care possible. Our patient benefits include full access to care without barriers.
Pinnacle Medicine is partnering with Synergy eTherapy. Synergy is a tele-mental health group practice (otherwise known as online counseling). Their therapists offer mental health therapy by phone and video so patients can be at home, work, or anywhere that's convenient to them. Their goal is to increase access to high quality mental health care!
We offer high-quality care to adults and geriatric patients. This includes chronic disease management (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc), basic mental health, urgent care, and annual physicals. If there is an extra charge for a service, you will know exactly what it is before proceeding. There are special labs and procedures that may require an additional fee.
These are some of the mostly commonly asked questions about our practice, the care we provide, and the direct primary care model. Direct Primary Care, or DPC, is a model of healthcare that puts patients first by getting rid of the red tape that constrains traditional practices. How? It's simple: we don't accept insurance.
