It is our philosophy to provide our clients with the best designs that meet their individual needs while maintaining sensitivity to the project environment. We strongly believe that a building should harmonize and complement the surroundings. Site and building development are integral components of our design process.

A step-by-step design sequence is used to keep our clients fully involved with our progress. The end result is a structure that embodies creative expression combined with exceptional function and quality. Our goal is to give strategic form to your unique vision with custom drawings and renderings. We create functional spaces through use of light, sustainable materials, and carefully crafted layouts.

This home, with design inspiration from owner/interior designer, is an original adaptation of the homes in Blowing Rock, North Carolina she knew as a child. The log timber work and bark siding, along with the many details and other interior and exterior materials, help to give this home the character and style she desired.
This early 1920's, old-style-Linville summer home was completely renovated to a year-round residence. Details, trim, and materials match the original finishes to recreate the unique character of the house. This older home needed an update. The owners wanted to open the house as much as possible to the beautiful golf course view.
This facility, consisting of approximately 18,000 conditioned square feet, is a non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to respond humanely to the needs of animals in Avery County. The society was founded in 1978 and relocated to their new facility in 2012. The Board of Directors wanted their new building to reflect the GREEN building and energy trends so prevalent in today's construction practices and techniques.
This home for the President of Lenoir Rhyne University, founded in 1891 as a private Lutheran liberal arts university in Hickory, NC, consists of almost 6,700 square feet of conditioned space and almost 14,000 square feet including all outdoor living/dining space. It was designed for the private use of the president and his family, and to serve large gatherings and functions sponsored by the University.
