We were in the area visiting my daughter so we reserved a site for us and them. Nice quiet camp, it was past swimming season but they have a great sandy swim beach area. It would be lots of fun in the summer. They have 3 lakes. You can fish in all of them. It appears to be a lot of full timers that have the lakefront sites. A playground would be a nice addition for the campground

To say we were novices would be an understatement. This was our third camping trip and it was a great experience. First of all the camp is beautiful. There are three lakes with free fishing and no license needed. The owners guided us in to our site, made sure we were settled and checked on us on our departure. We plan to come back next month. Very quiet campground.

The staff was great. Met me at a corner and took me into my parking spot! Love this campground. Very kid friendly! There are floats on the water for kids to swim out too and jump on, slide off of, or just sit. Very affordable. Very dog friendly! I will make my reservations for next year. It’s close to home too. Fire pits. They have planned events like corn hole, and boings, and karaoke. The only downside is where I am parked I hear the highway noise. I will be back.

The floats were great although their was one that's called the rocket that is really hard to get on. I would not recommend for 10 and younger, but they do have a game room where you and you friends can hang out

Clean, family oriented, quiets earlier. We've stayed twice and it family had fun both times. Staff is professional and polite. Only thing I'd say is if you have a hard time with life coats fitting right, bring your own for the auqaglides.

I went to visit a relative who is staying there and I have had a phone conversation with your office manager and in person and I find her to be argumentative, borderline rude, and snappy. And since when do you charge people to visit family staying there? $5 per person per day? What happened to the old Davis Lakes that was friendly, accommodating, and kind? It is quiet, clean, and attractive, but the front desk left a bad taste in my mouth. Another wonderful attraction in Suffolk that has gone the way of greed.

Nice amenities, beautiful park, nice parking attendant. Difficult maneuvering big RV's due to tight roads and turns. Also tough having visitors as they have to pay to get in and register.

We stayed this weekend. Loved it. Awesome beach area and snack shack right on one of the little lakes. our site was a touch on the small side but nothing bad. Had a built deck already on site.
Was full but 100s or 1000s like state parks or KOAs.
10 out of 10 recommend

Nice campground. Clean and quiet. Most activities still closed except swimming and fishing due to Covid. Staff was super friendly!! Office even has fresh free range eggs, which was a surprise! Only suggestion would be to put trsh cans around campsites so people have places to put poopy bags after cleaning up behind their pets. We will be back once the weather is warmer and the kids can swim.

Had a wonderful weekend at the campsite visiting with family. The beach was amazing. Staff was friendly and welcoming. They hosted an easter egg hunt for the little ones which was very nice and organized to allow the smallest ones a chance to find their own eggs. Thank you for giving us such an amazing place to make memories that will last a lifetime.
