Really delicious breakfast. My poached eggs were perfect and the balance of favors of the sauce and chili rellenos was spot on.
Not to mention the warm Rum espresso drink...
I'll be back...

First time here was back in March to kick off the birthday festivities with some delicious breakfast and mimosas. Immediately, I was in love with the outdoor dining area where we sat. There were heat lamps if needed, beautifully landscaped....where am I??? Oh yes, at Chulo's!
Ordered a mimosa with a splash of orange juice. Voila! Arrived perfectly! I was in a weird mood. Delicious, fresh Mexican breakfast items. Some of the best carnitas I've had (flavorful, not over roasted), the huevos rancheros were tasty, and the pancakes were fluffy.

Love this place! It has always been delicious! Never had a bad meal there ever! My bacon skillet was outstanding! Highly recommend!

Pork tamale and Peruvian beans were so delicious. And don’t sleep on the churros… perfection.

Ate their after recommendation two years ago and remembered their wholey moly pancakes. Had them again two years later this morning and still the best pancakes ever.

Staff not wearing masks. Smack in the middle of wine country, the only wine they have is an unnamed Chardonnay; no red wine whatsoever. The chips are fried in the same oil as other dishes with gluten, so no luck if you're gluten intolerant. And half the menu is actually American.

Great food and great, friendly service. Ordered chicken fried steak was very flavorful, sister got the chilaquiles verdes special and were delicious!!!

This place is tucked away, so you might miss it. I went for breakfast, and was delighted by their fusion cuisine. Chorizo eggs Benedict was a rich, filling breakfast that went nicely with my coffee. Staff was great. Prices seemed reasonable. And having not been to a nice, leisurely breakfast in a very long time, it really hit the spot.

The food is always yummy here. The people are friendly and the patio is great to sit in. Love this place!

Another hidden gem in Templeton! It's tucked away in a quiet little plaza among medical offices. There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating - overall the ambiance is very sweet and nice.

Veggie Breakfast Burrito - 5/5 omg yum! This was huge and meant to be eaten with a fork and knife. It's a 'slightly wet' burrito. I will say the avocado on top was not the freshest, but otherwise there were sooo many veggies inside along with egg, beans, and cheese, and it was absolutely bomb.
Iced Coffee - 3/5 very watery iced coffee.
Huevos Rancheros - 5/5 my boyfriend loved it

Delicious food! We had their chilaquiles and breakfast skillet - both were delicious and the portions were generous. Would absolutely love to return here and bring the whole family next time :)

Friendly staff and lots of menu items. For breakfast, there are definitely many options ranging from classic diner food, to Mexican cuisine. Outdoor Patio was cozy and they were also accommodating to us, as we had a dog with us.

We LOVE Chulos! The owner, Karol, always greets us by name and asks us about specific things going on in our life that she remembers somehow. The food is outrageously delicious, and the staff are helpful, joyful, and attentive. The huevos rancheros are my ultimate guilty pleasure breakfast, and my daughter gets their French toast whether we're there for breakfast or lunch!

Chulos has been around for over 8 years now... and I have never gone to this hidden gem tucked away in the medical complex. It was an 45 minutes wait for seating on a Saturday - I rarely tolerate a wait that long and only did this time because it was for a friends Birthday. We are finally seated and I was surprised to see their extensive menu. I settled on French Toast with a side of bacon. This was such a cute spot to eat at. It was located in a back area where some offices /medical places but the food is really good ,the outside ambience and when you walk in it's really nice and there's a fountain and beautiful trees . The enchilada con huevos is excellent and the mocha coffee is so bomb ! Definitely coming back for more food that they have on the menu that I am looking forward to eat!!

Stopped here for a quick lunch and so glad I did! Absolutely delicious food (pictured is the sope with carne asada, which was some of the most flavorful and perfectly cooked carne asada I’ve ever had). Dog friendly patio too - I’ll definitely be back!

Great food. Slow, disorganized service (during a busy Sunday lunch visit). Servers were friendly. Just a lack of management and leadership direction on process and operations.

My boyfriend and I just enjoyed the most amazing brunch! Love the fact they sell you a bottle of champagne as well as serve mimosas by the glass. I had the hash eggs Benedict and it was amazing! My boyfriend had the Huevos rancheros and it was so good! Their beans have so much flavor and their hot sauce is really good! The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. Highly highly recommend it!

This restaurant puts love into every meal! I've never had a bad experience. They have a lovely outdoor area with heat lamps in the winter or through Covid to keep you warm, and a quaint inside area if desired as well. The attention to detail just keeps you coming back, they have fresh flowers on every table, not plastic, beautiful fresh flowers. This to me is amazing, and nearly unheard of these days. I personally love the ABC omelet but have tried several different dishes that are delicious! They have a mimosa selection as well as a small specialty coffee selection. I will keep coming back

Beef taco salad was really good. It's a big chunk of shredded beef on top of spring mix salad and the taco shell is light and fluffy. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated . Once seated , it took about 15 minutes for our server to take order meanwhile no water. Because the service was slow at the beginning I was worried the food was going to take forever to come out but surprisingly the food came out pretty fast. The outdoor seating place has a pretty water fountain and it's nice but pretty warm where we sat. No fans and it's about 101 F today here in Templeton. We were sweating

I'm giving a solid four stars here - they've got a nice outdoor, but covered, patio area to sit about 6-8 tables.

The menu lists so many of my favorites, I had a hard time deciding. Based on a fellow Elite review, I asked for "Free Cuba" because it sounded like a south american version of Loco Moco. Sadly, the server said they ran out of their garlic white rice. Very disappointing. Thinking quickly, I ordered another staple of mine, Huevos Rancheros, with corn tortillas, and added a beef patty (medium rare) on the side. Ha - absent the rice, it turned out really good

The food here is dope!!!! I went back the next day to eat more!!! Well worth the money and friendly staff and cozy enviroment

This place was recommended to us at the hospital Twins CititiesCommunity. It was a nice 6 min walk and a beautiful day. We came in and seated immediately. the menu was detailed and had a great variety of options. From salads to breakfast to lunches.
Once ordered it was promptly served and well presented. It looked so good that iforgot to take the pics prior to eating half of my Torta. My buddy too. It was so appetizing and smelled delicious.
The taste was spit on Great. Authentic and well proportioned.
It's a need to come place. You'll be pleasantly surprised with what you ordered
