Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that accesses the subconscious mind in order to affect the conscious. In terms of the mind, the subconscious represents 88% of our overall thought patterns and behaviors, where as the remaining 12% consists of the conscious. Working with the subconscious directly affects behaviors and unwanted thoughts, creating radical change.
Hypnotherapy can help overcome many underlying issues such as addiction, emotional disorders, assertiveness, chronic pain, cravings, death and loss, fears and phobias, insomnia, obsessive behaviors, self esteem, trauma and spiritual growth. Guided imagery and working within the subconscious will help you pass through difficult life passages.
You should set aside 90 minutes for the initial session. During this time we will discuss your goals, what hypnosis entails and how we go about achieving the hypnotic state. After your initial session, our follow-up sessions will last for between 60-75 minutes where we will discuss progress to date, and continue our work through further hypnotic techniques.
