For many, aging presents many challenges, including compromised or declining health, increasing pain with decreased mobility, memory loss and even finding a safe and affordable place to live. Many consider these challenges simply part of growing older and live less comfortably and safely than they could or should.
At Elder at Home, we do not simply accept that disease and disability automatically come with age. We have taken care of very physically and cognitively challenged 65 year old's as well as very youthful 98 year old's. Yes, aging has its challenges, but it can also be a mindset and we are here to offer support.

Sadly, he lost my grandmother when they were only 66 years old. He was at our house several times a week, telling us "a man alone is no good." We would always be ready with an extra dinner plate and to comfort him during those difficulty evenings. During the summers I would spend the warm Maine days with my grandfather.

Life has been very busy and I don't think I have told you enough and frankly words can't truly express my appreciation for all your efforts. Oh our behalf, I know this was a challenging undertaking and I also understand that we could not have gotten to where we are today without your guidance and support.
