Abbott, Stice and our entire optometry team are committed to providing advanced vision care in a professional and comfortable environment. As optometrists in Mexico and Vandalia, our primary eye care services include a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function. In addition to eye exams and vision testing, our team of optometry professionals provides treatment for glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration.
Dr. Carl Abbott is a fourth generation optometrist and was born at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He earned his Associate of Arts degree as valedictorian at Central Christian College of McPherson, Kansas; Bachelor of Science in Organismal Biology at the University of Kansas with Highest Distinction; and Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Missouri-St.
LeAnna Freels has been in eye care since 2001 and with Precision Eyecare since 2003. She is the Office Manager at the Mexico office and is also the billing coordinator and Chief Optometric Assistant. She has lived in mid-Missouri her entire life. LeAnna enjoys participating in novelty runs and 5K races and is married to Robbie, the equipment manager for APAC, Missouri.

At Precision Eyecare, our goal is to promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. If needed we can give our patients an estimate of exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment.

This appointment was an absolute delight. Dr. Abbott not only kept humor in my visit but explained everything in detail about what was going on with my eyes. Almost made me sad that I don't have to go back for a year. Highly recommend them. Office staff was so pleasant I can't praise everyone enough.
