John Craig, Robert Craig and Wesley Craig started J W Welding Supplies & Tools in 1978 offering service of quality products at reasonable rates out of the back of a pick-up truck. The motto of the business was "Service only a family owned and operated business can supply", which is still supported today by the company surviving family members.
Hard work coupled with fierce determination lead to many strong relationships with local businesses and the farming/ranching community's that helped permanently root J W Welding Supplies & Tools in Fallon Nevada. Wesley Craig went off on a different venture and Robert Craig stayed as a silent partner.
