At Axis Physiotherapy Institute, we offer the highest standard of patient care. Over the past decade, our Doctors of Physical Therapy have been treating patients with integrity, devotion, and compassion. Our mission is to effectively help the people of the Emerald Coast of Florida regain independence and improve overall quality of life using compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based practice.
Functional movements are motions that directly pertain to daily activities. Usually, these include a number of body systems working together in order to achieve a specific task. As an example, if we need to get better at lifting an object from the floor, we need to be able to combine muscle strength, balance, posture, and range of motion to perform this safely and efficiently.
A physician referral is not needed for the first 30 days of treatment. However, If your care requires a duration longer than 30 days, then a physician prescription would be required. We would love to assist you in this process. On your first visit we ask you bring a list of any medications you are currently taking (including frequency), a photo ID, and insurance cards you wish to use.

This place is excellent, the physical therapists here are very professional and friendly, they’re seen to be concerned with the well-being of the patient, my mother had an accident at work that hurt her right shoulder and had been in a lot of pain, her doctor referred her to this place and since then she has been improving and loves coming to her appointments.

Matthew, Jordan, Kristin and Victoria are a topnotch team. They are knowledgeable, professional and provide an atmosphere very conducive to recovery. They really helped me and will help you too as long as you put in the same amount of effort they do. Of the five physical therapy offices I've used they are the best.

I have been seen 3 different physical therapist last 14 months which all seems did some what made my spine little better. I was kind of giving up on seeing Physical Therapy, so I decided to have a spinal fusion, my Neurosurgeon recommended to see them until date I have a surgery. NOW... I do NOT need a surgery. Matthew, Jordan and Kristin have been helping me tremendously feel better. They look every different angles to help me get better. Additionally, they are cery friendly and well educated.
