Life is full of ups and downs. Difficult events can leave us feeling weak and hopeless. Sometimes we become so overwhelmed by challenges and stress that we forget what we can control and overcome. Therapy can help us to better understand and process life events, family dynamics, and personal identity.
Therapy teaches us techniques to overcome symptoms and feel better. It can help us to focus on what is in our control and make small steps toward recovery. Life coaching can help to break down big goals into smaller attainable steps and lead to follow through. Through life coaching you can improve health, career, relationships, family, and home.

Services
I currently have a 4-8 week waitlist for new adult female clients for therapy or life coaching services. I help women to decrease stress, improve health, and thrive through goal setting & simplification. For the past decade I have treated families, children, adolescents, and women through cognitive behavioral therapy.
I am a licensed mental health counselor and life coach. I received my bachelors degree through James Madison University, majoring in psychology and minoring in family studies and women's studies. I completed my masters degree in counseling psychology through Assumption college with concentrations in cognitive behavioral therapies and child and family interventions.
My experience in Rebecca's office has helped me with who I am today and the way I not only look at issues in my life, but how to react and stay positive when put in a negative situation. Her style is much more helpful with creating weekly or bi-weekly tasks, along with positive daily tasks and long term goals that focus on YOU and benefit you as an individual.
Late at night when I get home from work I always wonder for a second if my husband will have already gotten our two year old to bed. I feel torn because I am so exhausted and would love to just come home and decompress, but at the same time there really is nothing more healing than seeing her stretch out her arms for a hug and hearing, Mama!
